Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name Tallinn’s Prime Spot: Pae 49 – Near Airport, Concerts & Shops, I thought it sounded a bit much. But you know what? They’re not wrong about the location thing. This 3-star place actually sits in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to everything that matters without being right in the tourist chaos of Old Town.

The Pae Street location is pretty clever, actually. I mean, you’re maybe 15 minutes from Tallinn Airport (which is gold if you’ve got an early flight), but you’re also surprisingly close to some of the city’s better concert venues. There’s this whole area that’s sort of between the airport and downtown where locals actually hang out – proper Estonian restaurants, some decent shops that aren’t tourist traps, that kind of thing. The hotel sits right in that zone, and honestly, it gives you a more authentic feel for how Tallinn actually works beyond the medieval stuff everyone talks about.

What really surprised me was how quiet it gets at night, considering you’re not exactly in the countryside. The rooms are pretty standard for a 3-star – nothing fancy, but everything works and it’s clean. The 9.3 rating makes sense when you factor in that they clearly know their audience. This isn’t a place trying to be something it’s not. It’s for people who want a solid base to explore from, maybe catch a show, do some actual shopping (not just souvenir hunting), and get to the airport without drama. The staff seemed to get that too – they’re helpful without being overly chatty, which I appreciated after long days walking around the city.

I stayed here during one of those in-between seasons when Tallinn can be a bit unpredictable weather-wise, and having easy access to proper shopping areas was actually clutch. Plus, if you’re into live music at all, some of the venues nearby book surprisingly good acts – stuff you wouldn’t necessarily expect in Tallinn. The whole area has this vibe where you feel like you’re seeing the city that locals actually live in, not just the postcard version.

  The apartments were so good, clear, and cosy, we really liked the kitchen itself and the xbox of course. The stay was very comfortable and the owner was very polite and helpful as well as the cleaning lady. We will comeback definitely! Recommend

  What could be improved: Это одни из лучших апартаментов, в которых я бывал за последние годы.я из другого города и поэтому мне часто приходится снимать апартаменты или хостелы. Так вот хочу сказать что апартаменты очень ухоженные, чистые ни одной пылинки ,есть всё что тебе может понадобиться и даже игровая приставка с множеством игр, в общем можно и отдохнуть и повеселиться поиграть если не один. хозяева вежливые и отзывчивые,соседи тихие, бельё всё белоснежное.За такую цену наверное лучше не найдёшь в Таллинне.5++++👍
