The Old Town’s medieval charm is close enough that you can wander over whenever the mood strikes, but you’re far enough away that you won’t be kept up by drunk tourists singing at 2 AM (trust me on this one). The apartments themselves feel refreshingly honest – modern amenities without trying too hard to impress, decent WiFi that actually works when you need to upload photos, and windows that open properly so you can let in that Baltic Sea breeze. I particularly appreciated having a real washing machine, because honestly, who wants to pack three weeks’ worth of clothes?

The 9.4 rating makes complete sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s not about flashy lobby chandeliers or complimentary champagne – it’s about getting the fundamentals right. Hot water that stays hot, heating that works during those surprisingly chilly Estonian evenings, and enough electrical outlets that you’re not playing musical chairs with your devices. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too, no endless forms or upselling attempts. What really sealed the deal for me was the genuine local recommendations from staff who clearly know Tallinn beyond the standard tourist script. They pointed me toward this incredible little bakery about ten minutes’ walk away that I never would have found otherwise, and suggested the best times to visit Kadriorg Palace when it’s not swarming with tour groups. If you’re the type of traveler who wants to feel like you’re actually staying somewhere rather than just passing through, these apartments nail that balance perfectly.

  The apartment was very clean and cosy. The staff was helpful whenever it was needed. The location was great; close to the centre but quiet as well. There are shops and cafés nearby, everything you might need is in walking distance.
  
  What could be improved: We missed having a chainlock on the door. Just a personal preferation though.
