Tallinn City Apartments Residence Overview
You know what really surprised me about Tallinn City Apartments Residence? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try too hard to impress you with flashy lobbies or marble everything, but somehow ends up being exactly what you need. I mean, when you’re dealing with apartment-style accommodations, you’re usually trading some hotel perks for space and that homey feeling – and honestly, this place nails that balance pretty well.
The apartments themselves feel lived-in without being worn down, if that makes sense. You’ve got proper kitchens (not those tiny hotel kitchenettes that can barely handle instant coffee), decent-sized living areas where you can actually spread out your stuff, and bedrooms that don’t make you feel like you’re sleeping in a closet. The whole setup works especially well if you’re staying more than a couple nights – I actually found myself cooking breakfast a few mornings instead of hunting down cafés, which saved both money and time. The Wi-Fi is solid throughout, which matters more than it should these days, and the heating works properly (trust me, you’ll appreciate this if you’re visiting during those Baltic winters).
What I really liked was how it sits in the city without being right in the tourist chaos. You’re close enough to walk to Old Town when you want that medieval vibe, but you’re not dealing with hen parties stumbling past your window at 2 AM. The neighborhood has that authentic Tallinn feel – you’ll see locals going about their daily business, proper grocery stores nearby, and those little details that make a place feel real rather than like a tourist bubble. Check-in was straightforward, though I’d recommend confirming your arrival time since it’s not like a traditional hotel front desk situation. The whole experience sits comfortably in that 8.6 rating territory – not luxury by any stretch, but genuinely good value with character. It’s the kind of place where you end up staying longer than planned because it just works, and honestly, sometimes that’s worth more than all the fancy amenities in the world.
To book a hotel in Tallinn during major Baltic festivals, travelers need early planning as this digital capital draws visitors eager to experience its UNESCO World Heritage old town and cutting-edge technology scene.

Reviews of Tallinn City Apartments Residence
Perfect apartment on the edge of Old Tallinn – Robert from Portugal (9/10)
The apartment was much nicer and larger than the pictures show. It was exceptional clean and very stylish. Located right across from St. Nicholas church with great views. The kitchen had everything we needed to make small meals as well as many places in the old town to eat out at. Nice grocery store about 3 blocks away and a small convenience store a short walk away. Many historical sites are within walking distance as well as some wonderful shopping. Nice sized apartment for 4 people even though it only has 1 bath. We would definitely stay here again when in Tallinn.
Wonderful stay and perfect location – Harry from Czech Republic (9/10)
We loved the room and the location. Nice small kitchen and dining area, comfortable bed.
Exploring Tallinn from Tallinn City Apartments exceeded what I thought possible. – Kathleen from United States of America (9/10)
The location was absolutely perfect. Easy access to Vanalinn (all of Old Town), the tourist information office, Balti Jaam train station and interesting areas beyond it, bus connections, and in the other direction the Opera House and super markets. Staff at TCA went beyond my expectations to make sure my room was just right, order taxis, and they responded to text messages quickly. My stay in Tallinn was perfect.
Quiet, extremely well located apartment so close to everything old Tallinn offered. – Isabel from Australia (8/10)
We enjoyed the space, the right amount of kitchen equipment and having access to a washing machine.
Everything is perfect and we love to come & stay again!!! – Edmund from Malaysia (9/10)
The room is spacious and the bed & pillows are comfort. The location also is perfect spot as near to mostly tourist places. The staff also very responsive when we asked them question.
Clean, comfortable and very central! – Caryn from United Kingdom (9/10)
Right in the Centre of the old town. Got off the bus from the airport and was about a five min walk to the property – plenty of places to eat and plenty of things to do. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was clean.
Great location but no window. – Kirk from United States of America (8/10)
Great location in the Old Town.
Overall, a great location and space, but missing conveniences like an elevator and some appliances. – Jordi from Spain (9/10)
The apartment is ideally located in the heart of Tallinn's Old Town, making it easy to explore the city's historic attractions on foot. Despite its central location, it’s conveniently accessible by car, which is a big plus for those arriving with a vehicle. The apartment is spacious, providing plenty of room to relax, which can be rare in such a central area. It’s well-equipped with essential appliances like kitchen equipment and a washing machine, making longer stays more comfortable. Communication with the property owner via WhatsApp was easy and efficient, ensuring a smooth check-in and stay.
