The building itself has that medieval charm – thick stone walls that keep things surprisingly quiet despite being surrounded by tourists during the day – but inside, everything’s been thoughtfully updated. The kitchenettes are actually functional (not those tiny hotel mini-fridges that barely fit a water bottle), and honestly, after a few days of restaurant hopping, being able to grab some Estonian black bread and cheese from the Rimi down the hill and make a simple breakfast was perfect. The beds are proper comfortable too, which matters more than people admit when you’re doing a lot of walking on those uneven cobblestones.

Location-wise, you’re literally a two-minute walk from Toompea Castle and the viewing platforms that overlook the red-tiled roofs of the lower town. But here’s what the guidebooks don’t tell you – early morning and late evening, when the tour groups clear out, you practically have those viewpoints to yourself. I’d grab a coffee from Kohvik Moon (just around the corner on Lühike jalg) and sit up there watching the city wake up. The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you spend a night or two here, because it’s those little details that add up: the way the morning light comes through those tall windows, how the staff actually remembers your name, the fact that you can hear church bells instead of traffic. Sure, parking can be tricky if you’re driving – Old Town wasn’t exactly designed for cars – but honestly, once you’re settled in here, everything worth seeing is within walking distance anyway.

  wow talk about a fantastic location and the apartment looks great. Equiped with a big double bed, a fold out couch and a loft bedroom.
  The staff is very attentive to messages and response is excellent.
  we asked for a crib and a high chair and both were in the apartment.
  the place is very clean and spacious with an excellent dishwasher. the only problem we encountered were rhe sleeping arrangements were not very comfortable.
