What really got me was the attention to small things: decent water pressure, blackout curtains that actually block light, and windows that open properly for those cooler evenings when you want fresh Baltic air instead of air conditioning.

The Kalamaja location is honestly perfect if you want to experience Tallinn beyond the tourist bubble of Old Town. You’re walking distance from Balti Jaam market – where locals actually shop – and the whole Telliskivi Creative City complex where you’ll find everything from vintage shops to craft breweries. The tram stop is practically around the corner, so getting to the medieval center takes maybe ten minutes, but you return each evening to tree-lined streets where you hear more Estonian than English. I loved the morning routine of grabbing coffee from one of the small cafes nearby (there’s this place on Kopli that does incredible pastries) and just wandering through streets lined with those distinctive wooden houses painted in blues and yellows and greens.

The 8.7 rating makes total sense to me – it’s the kind of place that delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. Sure, it’s not luxury accommodation, but that three-star rating feels honest rather than modest. The value equation works really well, especially if you’re someone who sees your hotel as a comfortable base rather than a destination itself. I’d definitely book here again, particularly for longer stays when having a proper kitchen and living space starts to matter more than hotel amenities you’ll barely use.

  I really loved the stay there! I will definitely book also next time. Because somehow Tallinn prices are really high, but this apartment had a really good price-quality ratio! The apartment was perfect for one (probably also for two), clean and new, with proper kitchen to cook, very cool upcoming neighborhood and close to the sea. Communication has been fast and great, everything was very smooth!

  What could be improved: A little bit confusing on arrival to locate the entrance to the property but after a quick phone call it became apparent that i hadn't been emailed the 'on arrival' instructions. Once received all was resolved.

  Clean room and the area of the property is peaceful. Customer service eventually provided us with the sheets to switch to twin beds.
  
  What could be improved: We only got 3 coffee capsules for 2 persons during 5 days. Beds were not twin beds as in the booking so we had to insist on providing us with new sheets to split the beds.
  
  Luggage storage is very far from the location. Also, don't stay over the limit of the check-out cause once you close the door, there's no getting back in as the codes are immediately deactived. If you forgot something it would be a lot of hassle.

  The building and apartment was a modern renovation in an up and coming area of the city. There is a lot of building work ongoing around the area but for me it gave a feeling of being quite cool. There was a great brewery tap room very near by. Getting to town was easy with a bus stop on the main road. By the end of our trip I knew Tallin quite well as it's not a huge city and walking thru the back streets and little areas to reach the apartment was actually a nice part of my holiday. I really do recommend this area and this apartment block. Tourists will stay in the centre of town for ease but it's just so busy there so for me this was perfect.
  
  What could be improved: The shower, as others have reported, was exceptionally leaky and would flood the bathroom floor. Not a massive issue just more annoying than anything. We also had trouble with initial entry like others have said too but phoned the number and they sorted it remotely within about 15 minutes.

  What could be improved: I arrived at 5am and wanted to check in but they had sent me the incorrect check in code. So I had to wait until 10am for them to start working and send me the correct code. I was terribly tired after the night long drive but they didn’t even apologize for it.
  
  The shower drain was clogged up and the shower head only worked with 50% pressure working as it also was clogged up. Had to clean it myself as the first time I took a shower the whole bathroom flooded.
  
  The parking is way too expensive for that area. 15eur for 24h is crazy.
