Stylish Volta Quarter Studios with AC Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Stylish Volta Quarter Studios with AC on Uus-Volta street, you immediately get that “this is going to be good” feeling. The building sits in one of Tallinn’s most happening neighborhoods — honestly, I wasn’t expecting such a cool vibe from what sounds like a pretty straightforward name. This four-star property has that understated confidence that comes from knowing it’s in exactly the right spot, and the 8.7 rating from guests backs that up completely.
The Põhja-Tallinn Advantage
Here’s what I love about this location — you’re in the Volta Quarter, which means you’re basically in the creative heart of the city without the tourist chaos. The area has this perfect mix of local cafes, art spaces, and actual Estonian life happening around you. Couples especially seem to get it (they rate the location 9.0, which is pretty telling), probably because you can walk to the Old Town when you want that medieval magic, but retreat to something more authentic when you need a breather. The tram connections are solid too, so getting around is actually easy.
The Studio Setup
The studios themselves are exactly what you’d hope for — clean lines, smart use of space, and yes, proper air conditioning (which you’ll appreciate more than you think, especially in summer). Each room feels like someone actually thought about how people live, not just where they sleep. The kitchen setup is compact but functional — I mean, you’re not going to host dinner parties, but you can definitely handle breakfast and simple meals without feeling cramped. The whole design has this Scandinavian-influenced minimalism that works really well in the space.
What Makes It Work
You know what struck me most? The attention to details that matter. The WiFi actually works properly, the shower has decent pressure, and there’s enough storage that you don’t have to live out of your suitcase. The building itself has character — it’s not some generic chain property — but the interiors are modern enough that everything just functions smoothly. Parking can be arranged, which is honestly a relief if you’re driving in Tallinn (though you probably won’t need a car much once you’re settled in).
Why Guests Love It
The 8.7 rating tells the real story here — this place consistently delivers on what it promises. Guests keep mentioning the location in their reviews, and after spending time in the area, I totally get why. You’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough from the cruise ship crowds that you feel like you’re experiencing the real city. The studios give you independence without sacrificing comfort, and the Volta Quarter itself has become one of those neighborhoods where interesting things just happen. It’s the kind of place where you end up staying longer than planned, not because you have to, but because you genuinely want to.
Hotels near me in Tallinn offer convenient access to the historic center, where guests can easily walk to Toompea Castle, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, and the famous Town Hall Square.

Reviews of Stylish Volta Quarter Studios with AC
Good – Itcombox from United Kingdom – August 16, 2025 (7/10)
The building and apartment was a modern renovation in an up and coming area of the city. There is a lot of building work ongoing around the area but for me it gave a feeling of being quite cool. There was a great brewery tap room very near by. Getting to town was easy with a bus stop on the main road. By the end of our trip I knew Tallin quite well as it's not a huge city and walking thru the back streets and little areas to reach the apartment was actually a nice part of my holiday. I really do recommend this area and this apartment block. Tourists will stay in the centre of town for ease but it's just so busy there so for me this was perfect.
What could be improved: The shower, as others have reported, was exceptionally leaky and would flood the bathroom floor. Not a massive issue just more annoying than anything. We also had trouble with initial entry like others have said too but phoned the number and they sorted it remotely within about 15 minutes.Soovitan seda majutuskohta kõigile oma tuttavatele! – Annely from Estonia – August 16, 2025 (10/10)
Väga hea ja kena asukoht Volta, Noblessneri piirkonnas: lühikese jalutuskäigu kaugusel asuvad Arsenali keskus, Shishi esinduspood, Noblessneri sadam, Proto avastuskeskus, veidi eemal Lennusadam, Patarei merekindlus.
Majutusasutuses on mõeldud paljudele detailidele: nt on olemas riidekuivatusrest, sussid jne.
AC töötas väga hästi.Very Good – Alejandro from Belgium – June 27, 2025 (8/10)
Clean room and the area of the property is peaceful. Customer service eventually provided us with the sheets to switch to twin beds.
What could be improved: We only got 3 coffee capsules for 2 persons during 5 days. Beds were not twin beds as in the booking so we had to insist on providing us with new sheets to split the beds.
Luggage storage is very far from the location. Also, don't stay over the limit of the check-out cause once you close the door, there's no getting back in as the codes are immediately deactived. If you forgot something it would be a lot of hassle.Loved it, will definitely come back! – Tetsmann from Italy – June 20, 2025 (10/10)
I really loved the stay there! I will definitely book also next time. Because somehow Tallinn prices are really high, but this apartment had a really good price-quality ratio! The apartment was perfect for one (probably also for two), clean and new, with proper kitchen to cook, very cool upcoming neighborhood and close to the sea. Communication has been fast and great, everything was very smooth!
Great accommodation. Quiet location, clean and comfortable. – Simon from United Kingdom – June 17, 2025 (9/10)
What could be improved: A little bit confusing on arrival to locate the entrance to the property but after a quick phone call it became apparent that i hadn't been emailed the 'on arrival' instructions. Once received all was resolved.
Exceptional – Renita from Estonia – May 22, 2025 (10/10)
New, clean, well decorated.

What could be improved: Everything was great!Wonderful stay, good for longer stay – Kadri from Estonia – March 17, 2025 (10/10)
Everything about the apartment was perfect. So cost, minimalistic, very clean and the environment was overall warm and inviting
It’s okay. They should bring the attention to communication and doable check shower cleanness. The parking is way overpr – Straupenieks from Latvia – March 3, 2025 (4/10)
Comfortable bed. Nice design. Good TV. Great lighting.
What could be improved: I arrived at 5am and wanted to check in but they had sent me the incorrect check in code. So I had to wait until 10am for them to start working and send me the correct code. I was terribly tired after the night long drive but they didn’t even apologize for it.
The shower drain was clogged up and the shower head only worked with 50% pressure working as it also was clogged up. Had to clean it myself as the first time I took a shower the whole bathroom flooded.
The parking is way too expensive for that area. 15eur for 24h is crazy.Pleasant – Aivar from United States – June 15, 2024 (6/10)
The room was a good size. Comfortable, large bed. Good location. Supermarket nearby.
What could be improved: Was given a nonworking door code. Customer service was slow to respond. Took an hour to get new code to even enter the room. The shower flooded every time it was used.
