Here’s what I love about staying in this neighborhood — you’re literally in the coolest part of Tallinn without even trying. Kalamaja used to be this gritty industrial area, but now it’s where all the creative types hang out, with amazing cafes, vintage shops, and street art around every corner. The apartment puts you right in the middle of all that energy, but on a quiet residential street where you can actually get some sleep. You know what’s really nice? There’s free parking right on site, which anyone who’s tried to park in European city centers will appreciate.

The Space Itself

The studio layout works surprisingly well — it’s one of those places that feels bigger than it actually is because everything’s been thoughtfully arranged. The kitchen area has everything you need if you want to grab some local ingredients from the nearby market and cook something simple. I mean, you’re in Estonia, so you’ll probably want to try making some black bread or picking up fresh fish from the harbor area. The room manages to feel both cozy and spacious, with good natural light and windows that actually open properly (you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case).

Getting Around

What really sold me on this location is how easy it is to explore both the historic Old Town and the more modern parts of Tallinn. The medieval city center is just a pleasant 15-minute walk away — close enough that you can pop back to drop off shopping bags or take a quick break, but far enough that you’re not dealing with tourist crowds right outside your door. The Balti Jaam train station is practically next door, which makes day trips super easy if you want to explore more of Estonia or even hop over to Latvia.

The 9.5 rating honestly makes sense when you experience the place yourself. Couples especially seem to get it — there’s something romantic about staying in this creative neighborhood, maybe grabbing dinner at one of the local spots, then walking back through the quiet streets.   Newly renovated, exceptionally clean, and convenient apartment! Although the location is very close to the hip Telliskivi area, the house is located on a quiet street. Combined with the comfortable beds, we had some great sleep here. Although the place is not huge, we had everything two people might need for remote working, cooking, and exploring Tallinn on foot/public transport. Hosts were very kind and helpful, and self-check-in was a breeze. I'll definitely return here next time I'm in Tallinn.

  Monolocale ben organizzato per un soggiorno breve. Cucina ben attrezzata. Bagno minimale ma corredato da tutto ciò che serve.Ottima posizione, a soli pochi minuti a piedi dal centro e dalla fermata dei mezzi pubblici, in un quartiere molto tranquillo ma vivace per la presenza di numerosi pub e ristoranti .Intorno a te trovi tutto per un soggiorno di svago . Ottima posizione più che nella città vecchia che è troppo turistica anche se deliziosa.
