I’ll be honest – when I first walked into SkyResidence Luxury Apartment With City & Garden View, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like just another apartment building on Pärnu mnt. But you know what? Sometimes the best places surprise you, and this one definitely did.

The location is actually pretty brilliant if you know Tallinn at all. You’re right on Pärnu mnt, which means you can walk to the Old Town in about fifteen minutes (I timed it), but you’re far enough out that you’re not dealing with the tourist crowds stumbling back from Depeche Mode Bar at 2 AM. The apartment itself lives up to that “city and garden view” promise – from the windows you get this nice mix of Tallinn’s skyline and some surprisingly green patches. I mean, it’s not like you’re overlooking Central Park or anything, but for a city center spot, there’s more greenery than you’d expect. The apartment feels properly spacious too, which is refreshing after staying in some of those cramped Old Town hotels where you can barely open your suitcase.

What really sold me on this place was the little details that show someone actually thought about what travelers need. The kitchen is properly equipped (not just a mini-fridge and a prayer), there’s decent Wi-Fi throughout, and honestly, the bed was comfortable enough that I didn’t spend the first night tossing around trying to find a good position. The building itself is pretty quiet – I stayed during a busy weekend in summer and barely heard any street noise, which on Pärnu mnt is actually impressive since it can get fairly bustling during the day. Check-in was straightforward, though like a lot of apartment-style places in Tallinn, it’s not a traditional hotel lobby situation, so don’t expect someone in a uniform to help with your bags. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this area (welcome to Tallinn city center), but there are options within a couple blocks if you’re driving. The whole setup feels more like staying in a local’s well-appointed apartment than a sterile hotel room, which I actually preferred. Sure, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury touches, but for the price point and location, it delivers exactly what it promises – a solid, comfortable base for exploring the city without the tourist-trap markup you get closer to Town Hall Square.

  What could be improved: Nimetuses olev “Luxury” on tegelikkusest ikka väga kaugel – mugavusele pole mitte mingisugust rõhku pandud. Kindlasti tasub enda hügieenitooted ja vajadusel ka föön kaasa võtta!
  Kohale jõudes selgus, et broneerides ja paludes lapsevoodit, seda tegelikult polnudki.
  Broneerimissüsteemis võiks olla rohkem infot majja sissepääsemise osas ning sellele peaks järgnema ka kiirem reageering kliendiga, et maja ees ja ümber ei peaks tiirutama ja seisma nagu soolasammas.

  Uusi rakennus ja hyvä pysäköintipaikka talon pysäköintihallissa. Vaikka sinne pääsy olikin vaikeaa puutteellisten tietojen vuoksi.
  
  What could be improved: Huoneisto on kahdelle sopiva, asunnon vuodesohva ei sovi nukkumiseen. Peittoja oli vain kaksi. Pieniä puutteita siellä täällä, astiat oli koneessa ja verhot puoliksi irti.

  Talo oli uusi, oli ilmastointi. Asunto oli ihan viihtyisä.
  
  What could be improved: Peitot olivat tuplapeittoja, jotka olivat hankalat. Levitettävä vuodesohva oli surkea. Tiskiharja sekä tiskirätti puuttuivat. Ilmaisia kylpytuotteita tarkoitti yhtä suihkutuotetta.

  What could be improved: Apartment was not well cleaned. This is far from a Luxury Apartment. Average or poor, not luxury at all. Wifi code was wrongly sent, no kitchen towels, washing towels were full of other people hairs (hopefully were washed), floor in the kitchen was sticky, we cleaned it ourself. Bedroom floor was totally dusty (it was good to see in the morning when sun came in). We booked apartment for 3 but it was set for two. Totally pointless hosting, was not customer friendly at all.
