What really got me though was stepping into the apartment and seeing those views they’re going on about in the name. The high floor thing isn’t just marketing speak – you actually do get this sweeping look across Tallinn’s rooftops and church spires that makes you stop whatever you’re doing and just… well, stare for a bit. It’s particularly stunning around sunset when the old town starts glowing that golden color.

The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel room, which I actually preferred. There’s real character here – proper kitchen space where you can actually cook (not just those sad little kitchenettes with a broken mini-fridge), and the furnishings feel thoughtfully chosen rather than bulk-ordered from some hotel supply catalog. Sure, it’s got that 3-star rating, so don’t expect marble everything or a concierge, but the essentials are all solid. The bed’s comfortable, the Wi-Fi actually works at decent speeds, and the bathroom has proper water pressure – sometimes that’s all you really need. I did notice some minor wear around the edges, nothing major, just the kind of lived-in feeling that comes with a place that gets regular use.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night, even being so central. Tornimäe doesn’t get the late-night foot traffic that some of the main tourist drags do, so you can actually sleep without earplugs. During the day though, you’re a two-minute walk from Viru Keskus if you need to grab groceries or whatever, and all those little medieval streets with the craft shops and cafés are right there when you want to explore. The 7.4 rating makes sense to me – it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury touches, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any nasty surprises. For the price point and that view, I’d honestly stay here again next time I’m in Tallinn.

  The view is great, sunset was fantastic over the sea. Really comfortable bed and fairly close to old town.

Not enough equipment in the kitchen to cook (one saucepan very dirty and one frying pan), very limited supplies (one toilet roll, no dishwasher tablets etc which would be helpful).

  What could be improved: Põrandad olis mustad, diivani taga leidus hulgaliselt sodi. Polnud lappi pindade puhastamiseks ega ka nõudepesumasina kasutamiseks vahendeid. Wc paber oli poolik rull ja sai otsa. Uut ei leidnud kusagilt. Ööbimine oli 4-le, kasutada oli vaid 2 suurt tekki, mis oli ebamugav. Ka rätikuid ei jätkunud kõigile. Koridoris olev valgusti oli vist katki, sest suurt valgust see ei andnud. Sügavkülmiku uks katki, oli tekitatud lusikaga süsteem sulgemiseks. Teist korda enam ei läheks.

  What could be improved: Atvykus vėliau numatyto laiko, vis tiek reikėjo laukti. Apartamentai buvo užsakyti 4 asmenims, bet patalynė buvo apvilkta ir paruošta tik 2. Informavome savininką, pažadėjo atvežti, bet neatvežė. Apartamentuose buvo nešvaru.
