You know what? Sea Side is one of those places that surprises you – and I mean that in the best way possible. When I first pulled up, honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star spot. But there’s something about this place that just works, you know? Maybe it’s because they’re not trying to be something they’re not.

The location is actually pretty solid – you’re close enough to hear the ocean if you open your windows at night (which I loved, though light sleepers might want to pack earplugs). The whole area has this relaxed, unpretentious vibe that I found refreshing after staying at some of those overly polished resort chains. Check-in was smooth, no drama there, and the staff seemed genuinely friendly rather than that forced hospitality smile you get sometimes. The rooms are clean and comfortable – nothing fancy, but everything works and the beds are surprisingly decent. I mean, for the price point, you’re getting solid value here.

What really won me over was the attention to small details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The shower pressure is good (trust me, this matters more than fancy marble), there’s enough outlet space for your devices, and they’ve got that perfect room temperature thing figured out. The whole place feels well-maintained without being sterile. I noticed they keep the common areas really tidy, and there’s usually coffee available in the lobby – not gourmet stuff, but it hits the spot when you’re heading out for an early morning walk. Parking was easy enough, which saved me the headache of circling blocks looking for a spot. The neighborhood itself is pretty walkable, with some decent local spots nearby that you’ll stumble across if you just wander around a bit. Honestly, some of my best meals happened at little places I found just by exploring the area on foot. The 8.0 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be luxury, but it delivers on what it promises and then some. If you’re looking for a place that feels more like a comfortable home base than a fancy hotel experience, this is your spot.
