Full-sized everything, proper counter space, and – this is going to sound weird – but the morning light hits it just right when you’re making coffee. I spent way more time cooking than I planned because, well, it felt like my own place. The view stretches toward the harbor, and you can watch the ferries coming and going to Helsinki. There’s something oddly soothing about it, especially in the evenings when the light starts to fade. The whole setup feels grown-up in a way that a lot of vacation rentals don’t – like someone actually lives here instead of just rotating through Ikea catalogs.

Location-wise, you’re maybe a fifteen-minute walk to Old Town’s main drag, but honestly, the neighborhood around Pärnu mnt has its own thing going. There’s a solid grocery store practically downstairs (Maxima, if you’re keeping track), and the tram line runs right there when you don’t feel like walking. Parking was surprisingly straightforward – there’s street parking that actually works, unlike some parts of the city center where you’re circling for twenty minutes. The building itself is quiet, even with the street location. I was expecting some traffic noise, but the windows must be decent quality because I slept fine. Check-in was smooth too – none of that awkward key-exchange dance you sometimes get with apartment rentals. The whole experience just felt… I don’t know, effortless? Which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to get a feel for a city. With that 9.7 rating, I get why people keep coming back to this place.

  Everything in the apartment functioned well. The bed was comfortable. The couch was very big and comfy. We were provided with everything needed. The location is also good. You can walk to the city centre if you want. If not, there are tram and bus connections. The view was amazing indeed. We really enjoyed our stay.

  The apartment had plenty of room, it was tidy and very quiet. Beds were comfy. There were also lots of kitchen equipment so you can cook easily.
  
  What could be improved: Overall we really liked our stay but we would have wanted to have some kind of curtains in the living room. Also the AC was a bit too effective.
