But here’s the thing – despite being smack dab in the tourist zone, the apartment itself feels like this peaceful retreat. The walls are thick enough that once you close those heavy doors, the outside world sort of… disappears. I spent one evening just sitting by the window with a cup of coffee, watching people navigate the uneven stones below, and it felt like watching history unfold in real time.
