New Apartment in Kadriorg, Tallinn City Centre Overview
You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first heard about the New Apartment in Kadriorg, Tallinn City Centre – honestly, the name makes it sound pretty generic. But this place absolutely blew me away, and that 9.8 rating suddenly makes total sense once you’re actually there.
The location is what really got me first. I mean, Kadriorg is probably one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Tallinn, and staying here feels like you’ve discovered this perfect sweet spot that most tourists completely miss. You’re literally a five-minute walk from Kadriorg Palace and those gorgeous baroque gardens – I found myself cutting through the park every morning just because it felt too good to take the long way around. The Swan Lake there is honestly magical at sunrise (if you’re into that sort of thing), and there’s this little café called Restoran Tchaikovsky nearby where locals grab their morning coffee. What I loved is that you can walk to the Old Town in maybe fifteen minutes, but you’re far enough away that you don’t hear the late-night party crowds stumbling around the cobblestones.
The apartment itself – well, let’s just say whoever designed this place actually understands what travelers need. Everything feels thoughtfully chosen rather than just thrown together, which is refreshing for a 3-star place. The kitchen actually has proper knives and decent pans (you’d be surprised how rare this is), and there’s this great little balcony where I ended up having my morning coffee while watching locals walk their dogs in the park across the street. The Wi-Fi was solid – worked perfectly for video calls, which I definitely needed. One small thing though, the shower pressure could be a bit stronger, but honestly that’s pretty minor when everything else works so well. Check-in was surprisingly smooth too; they sent clear instructions beforehand and the key pickup was right where they said it would be.
What really struck me is how this place captures that authentic Tallinn vibe without trying too hard. You’re staying in a real neighborhood where people actually live, not some touristy bubble. I watched kids playing in the courtyard, old Estonian ladies chatting on benches, that sort of everyday life that makes a place feel genuine. The Kumu Art Museum is practically next door if you’re into contemporary art, and there’s this fantastic little market on Saturdays where locals sell everything from fresh berries to handmade ceramics. Actually, some of my best meals came from ingredients I picked up there and cooked in the apartment – there’s something satisfying about shopping like a local and then retreating to your own space. Plus, parking wasn’t the nightmare I expected in a city center, though I’d still recommend walking everywhere you can. Trust me, this is one of those finds that makes you feel like you’ve cracked some sort of travel code.
Hotel in Tallinn booking should be done early, especially during White Nights season when the city hosts internationally acclaimed cultural and technology events.

Modern, and valued hotell apartment – Woody from Norway (10/10)
This is a very modern, new renovated and stylish hotel apartment with high interior quality in the kitchen, livingroom, batch room, hall and bedroom. This certainly is value for your money. The apartment is very close to the airport (7 minutes by taxi, and 10 minutes by bus 15 to Bussijaam) and within walking (15-20 minutes) distance of the center. The apartment is located in a safe area with public street parking nearby. The flat is very clean, and has all the needs of a guest. The apartment is well suited for one person or a couple. Women will like this. The closest grocery is about 8 minutes away. Basic needs and Wifi is great and many TV channels . There are two small food restaurants on the same road.
