The beds are comfortable enough, though if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to pack earplugs depending on which side of the building you end up on. Street-facing rooms can pick up some traffic noise, but nothing too dramatic.

What I really appreciated was how the place feels connected to its neighborhood rather than isolated from it. The front desk staff actually knows the area – like, genuinely knows it, not just the touristy spots everyone mentions. They pointed me toward a local café that I never would’ve found otherwise, and when I needed to grab some basics, they directed me to a nearby market instead of the overpriced convenience store around the corner. The hotel sits in a spot where you can actually walk to things, which saves you from constantly hailing taxis or figuring out public transport. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving – there’s limited street parking, and the nearest garage is a few blocks away, so factor that in if you’re road-tripping.

The whole operation runs pretty efficiently without feeling corporate or sterile. Housekeeping does their job well, and I noticed they’re pretty flexible about timing if you need your room cleaned earlier or later than usual. The common areas stay reasonably quiet, even when the place seems busy, and there’s always hot coffee available in the morning – not amazing coffee, but definitely drinkable. With a 7.8 rating, it sits right where you’d expect: comfortable, reliable, and honest about what it offers. It’s the kind of place where you sleep well, wake up ready to explore, and don’t feel like you’ve either overpaid or compromised too much on comfort.
