You know what caught me off guard about Luxury Suites – Rotermann City? The name actually fits – and I’m usually skeptical when places throw around words like “luxury.” But this 3-star spot really does feel more upscale than its rating suggests, probably because it’s sitting right in one of Tallinn’s most interesting neighborhoods.

I mean, Rotermann Quarter is this fascinating mix of old industrial buildings that have been transformed into something completely different. You step out of the hotel and you’re surrounded by these red brick warehouses that now house design shops, cafes, and galleries. It’s honestly one of those areas where you can spend hours just wandering around – there’s always some pop-up event or new restaurant opening that locals are buzzing about. The cobblestone streets can be a bit tricky with luggage (learned that the hard way), but once you’re settled in, everything feels walkable. Old Town is maybe a 10-minute stroll, but you’re far enough away that you don’t get the tourist crowds stumbling past your windows at midnight.

The suites themselves are surprisingly spacious – I think that’s where the “luxury” part really shows. My room had this great little kitchenette setup, which was perfect because honestly, eating out in Tallinn every meal can add up quickly. The design feels modern without being cold, lots of clean lines and neutral colors, but with these nice touches like local artwork and what seemed like quality linens. The bathroom was definitely above what I’d expect from a 3-star place – good water pressure, heated floors that were a godsend during my November visit. One small thing though – the walls aren’t super thick, so if you’re a light sleeper, you might hear your neighbors moving around in the morning. Not deal-breaking, just something to know. What really impressed me was how quiet it stayed despite being in such a central location. I think because Rotermann isn’t really a party district – it’s more about daytime exploration and evening dinners than late-night bar hopping. The staff was genuinely helpful too, not just polite but actually knowledgeable about the area. They pointed me toward this amazing Estonian restaurant called Ribe that I never would have found otherwise, tucked away in one of those converted warehouse spaces just a few blocks over. Check-in was smooth, and they were flexible about letting me store bags after checkout while I explored the city one last time before my flight.

  Location was perfect for us. It is very close to old city and also the shopping malls if needed. The flat was clean, modern, beds were comfortable. equipments we needed in the kitchen were available. There was no luggage room to drop them before check-in i, but they provided an opportunity to drop them in a hotel nearby.

  Location was great, close to ferry, old town and the area had lots of nitelife. Good kitchen stuff and plenty of room. They provided detailed info to get the key near the apartment

  The tricky instructions to get the key 🙈 Supposed to be : At the back of the hotel. The entrance with the sign Roseni 9 Roseni Residentsid. Juz infront of that entrance has a building with the stairs made up of steel & that is where u could find the Keybox (with Roseni 9 mark) . Hope it helps🙈 But overall we were happy coz they let us also to check in 1hr earlier than check in time 💫

  Location cannot be beaten – the apartment js right in the heart of Rotermanni Kvartal, within walking distance of the Old Town. Easily accessible by public transport to / from the airport and coach station. The apartment itself is in a new building, quite clean and comfortable enough for one person or a couple. It has got most of the necessary amenities (microwave, kettle, iron).
  
  What could be improved: 1. Finding the entrance to the residential part of the building was a bit tricky – the instructions could have been clearer as there is also a hotel in the same building.
  2. Fetching the keys from the locket hanging outside was an absolute nightmare. It was almost midnight when I arrived and -15 degrees outside (feeling more like -20) and it felt like my fingers were going to freeze and fall off while trying to put in the code and open the locket. This may work when the weather is not severe but I'd think about coming up with an alternative for the winter.
  3. Unresponsive host – firstly I wad given incorrect wifi login data. I sent a message to Anastasya on Sat morning and did not get any reply for an entire day. She did apologise the following day, saying she had a day off. Well, lucky it was not an emergency. And I figured out the Internet in the meantime on my own.
  4. The TV is surprisingly old for a relatively brand new apartment. It offers local and some international channels. There is no Netflix or other apps, you cannot even mirror the screen from your phone or laptop. The only hdmi port is taken by the local tv box.
  5. Very limited number of utensils and cheap, low quality towels in the bathroom.
  6. Very very soft mattress
  7. Bedside table would be welcome.

  ..The apartment in fotos looks soooo different,how in the real. I don't know why need so much filtered fotos.The bed cover, picture on wall is different. I was upset a bit.. Couse was waiting same colours wich is in fotos. But it's simple flat. All kitchen equipment. Good location to old Town, Port. Near flat kid playground.

  2 different wine glasses.Fridge was not clean, left frozen package. No shower gel in bath. Not possible to sit and to eat on kitchen bar tables. Too damaged bed matrace..Cant turn on another side without noise.it's toooo used.
