You know what honestly surprised me about the Luxury penthouse with terrace & sauna in Old Town? It actually lives up to that bold name – and I’m usually pretty skeptical of places that call themselves “luxury” right off the bat. The sauna is what really got me though – it’s this perfectly sized Finnish-style setup tucked into what I’m guessing used to be a storage room. After spending the day wandering around those narrow streets (which are gorgeous but honestly murder on your feet), sinking into that dry heat was exactly what I needed. During the day you’ll hear the tour groups and street musicians drifting up from below, but once evening hits, it’s surprisingly peaceful up there. The terrace becomes this perfect spot for morning coffee or evening wine – I spent way more time out there than I planned to, just watching the light change on those ancient rooftops. Parking was actually manageable too, which is rare for this area. The host had solid recommendations for a nearby garage, and check-in was smooth despite the tricky Old Town navigation (pro tip: don’t trust your GPS completely once you get into those narrow streets). At 9.5 stars, it’s definitely earned its reputation, and honestly, staying here beats any hotel for getting that authentic Old Town experience without sacrificing comfort.
