Luxury loft in central Tallinn Overview

You know what struck me first about the Luxury loft in central Tallinn? It actually lives up to that “loft” promise – I mean, you walk in and there’s this genuine industrial-chic vibe that doesn’t feel forced or Instagram-fake. The space has those high ceilings and exposed elements that make you feel like you’re staying somewhere with actual character, not just another cookie-cutter hotel room.

The location on Kalasadama is honestly pretty brilliant if you know Tallinn at all. You’re in Põhja-Tallinn, which puts you close enough to the Old Town that you can walk there when the weather’s decent (about 15 minutes), but you’re also near the port area where there’s this whole different energy happening. I loved being able to grab coffee at the local spots that aren’t crawling with tour groups – there’s something refreshing about starting your day alongside actual Estonians heading to work. The area gets a bit quiet in the evenings, which I actually appreciated after spending days wandering the busier parts of the city. You can hear the occasional tram, but it’s more of a gentle urban lullaby than anything disruptive.

What really won me over was how the place manages to feel both modern and rooted in Tallinn’s industrial heritage. The loft setup means you’ve got proper space to spread out – and honestly, after cramming into some of those tiny European hotel rooms, having room to actually unpack felt like a luxury in itself. The 8.1 rating makes sense when you experience it; it’s not trying to be a five-star palace, but everything works well and feels thoughtfully put together. The kitchen setup is particularly good if you’re the type who likes to hit the local markets (Balti Jaam Market is close by) and put together your own meals. I found myself doing exactly that – picking up some local bread and cheese, maybe some of that Estonian honey, and enjoying breakfast with a view that beats most hotel dining rooms. Sure, it’s a 3-star place, so don’t expect daily turndown service or a concierge, but that’s kind of the point. It feels more like staying in a friend’s well-designed apartment than a traditional hotel, which is exactly what some travelers are looking for these days.

Early hotels booking in Tallinn requires advance planning during peak cultural seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s remarkable medieval architecture and vibrant tech scene.

Reviews of Luxury loft in central Tallinn

  • Good – Inna from United Kingdom – August 18, 2025 (7/10)

    The location is great 😃

What could be improved: The property itself is dirty 😞

  • Very Good – St from Germany – June 22, 2025 (8/10)

    Perfekt ausgestattetes Appartment

What could be improved: Partylocation im Turm gegenüber, die Bässe waren nervig

  • Überzeugend! – Paulo from Germany – June 12, 2025 (9/10)

Sehr gute Lage. Komfortablere Ausstattung. Ruhig. Angenehme Atmosphäre.

What could be improved: Kein Duschabzieher im Bad. Nur ein Topf in der Küche.

  • Closer to ferry – Uditha from United States – May 31, 2025 (8/10)

Close to ferry and old townClean. Big bathroom.

What could be improved: Kitchen was not equipped well. No coffee or tea. One saucepan to boil water.

  • Luksus asunto. Hyvä sijainti. – Salminen from Finland – May 26, 2025 (9/10)

What could be improved: Avainta emme olisi löytäneet ilman ulkopuolista apua. Kannattaisi laittaa paikasta kuva. Kaverini kaipasi kahvinkeitintä.

  • Very Good – Satu from Finland – May 23, 2025 (8/10)

What could be improved: Olisin kaivannut kahvin- tai vedenkeitintä keittiön varustukseen, mielellään molempia.

  • In general value for money is good! – Zane from Latvia – May 9, 2025 (7/10)

Area is very nice-easy to reach everything.
    Bed mattress was excellent!

What could be improved: Bed sheets were full of strange hair! If not possible to wash them out (as owner claimed they were clean) -just change the sheets what is made from an other material.
Baby bed didn’t had any sheets or blanket! Suggestion was to take sheets by ourselves (as we didn’t ask for sheets separately), what we discovered after arriving.
Apartment is not luxury- just a nice apartment.

  • Would recommend. – Fanny from Finland – April 8, 2025 (10/10)

    Great apartment.

What could be improved: Key was little hard to find. There were many boxes to choose from, and this was separately in different direction.

  • Wonderful – Elis from Estonia – February 23, 2025 (9/10)

Rahulik ja vaikne. Selline tunne nagu teisi inimesi polekski olnud. Ruumikas ja avar. Veekeetja oleks võinud ka olla aga polnud probleemi ka potiga vett keeta. Pole probleeme vaid lahendused 😉

  • The apartment is managed unprofessionally – Miska from Finland – December 26, 2024 (6/10)

The apartment has a good layout and is located in a good area near the old town, the harbor and Kalamaja. With a small additional investment and a little effort, the apartment could easily be turned into an excellent one.

What could be improved: Unfortunately, the apartment has been taken care of unprofessionally. There were 12 sheets hanging to dry in the bedroom wardrobe. Some of them were wet and smelled awful. The bedding and pillows were extremely uncomfortable and of poor quality. The second double bed was practically a children's bed, which is not suitable for adults. The wine glasses were cracked or broken and out of use. Host considered drying the laundry in the apartment's wardrobe as normal and did not apologize for it. I would not rent this apartment again.
