Luxury apartment in the heart of Old Town Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Luxury apartment in the heart of Old Town, you immediately understand why this place gets such rave reviews. I mean, Aida tänav is literally one of those cobblestone streets that feels like stepping back in time — but in the best possible way. The building itself has that classic Estonian charm, and honestly, when you’re standing at the entrance, you can already hear the gentle hum of Tallinn‘s Old Town just around the corner. This four-star property doesn’t try too hard to impress you with flashy lobbies or over-the-top amenities, which I actually appreciate.

Location That Actually Matters

You know what’s refreshing? When a place claims to be in the “heart” of something and actually delivers. This apartment sits right in Tallinn City Center, and I’m talking about a genuine 10.0 location score — which, let’s be honest, is pretty rare. You can walk to Toompea Castle in about five minutes, and the Town Hall Square is practically your backyard. The medieval walls are so close you could probably touch them if you leaned out the window far enough. What really struck me was how quiet it stays despite being so central — those thick old walls do their job well.

The Space Itself

The room setup here is what makes this place special, actually. It’s got that perfect balance of historic character and modern comfort that so many places try for but rarely nail. The windows — and this might sound silly — but they frame the Old Town views like little postcards. I found myself just sitting there with my morning coffee, watching locals head to work along the cobblestones. The space feels genuinely lived-in rather than sterile, which makes sense given that couples consistently rate this place so highly for romantic getaways.

Practical Comforts

Here’s where the apartment really shines for actual travelers rather than just Instagram shots. The kitchen is properly equipped — not just a mini-fridge and a prayer, but actual cooking space if you want to grab some local ingredients from the nearby markets. Parking in Old Town Tallinn can be a nightmare, but they’ve sorted that out, which honestly saved me a lot of stress. The whole setup just works without making you think too hard about logistics, you know? Sometimes the best amenities are the ones that simply don’t cause problems.

Why Guests Love It

That 8.8 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen — it reflects something real about this place. Couples keep coming back because there’s something genuinely romantic about falling asleep to the sound of medieval streets settling for the night. The location score of 10.0 means you’re not spending half your vacation figuring out transportation or walking endless blocks to see anything worthwhile. Instead, you step outside and you’re already there, surrounded by centuries of history but with all the modern comforts waiting when you return. It’s that rare combination of authentic local experience and actual comfort that makes a trip memorable rather than just tolerable.

Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Tallinn through trusted local agencies that provide insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for experiencing the city’s medieval heritage and modern innovation.

Reviews of Luxury apartment in the heart of Old Town

  • It was OK. – Ervin from Estonia – August 2, 2025 (6/10)

Lovely location in the quiet place of the Old town.

What could be improved: It smelled like humidity in the whole apartment. The TV didn’t worked with our without the remote controller + there were no extra batteries for it. Found an old dirty sock in the couch between pillows. Nasty surprise.

  • Special place to stay in the Old Town of Tallinn. – Malle from Estonia – August 1, 2025 (9/10)

The apartment was beautiful. Best location ever as I was coming and leaving by train. The area is quiet (at least on a Wednesday evening). It was quiet to sleep which was excellent. Playground is close by but so is old town. It was really a special place to stay. I liked it alot. Walking around the area is lovely.

What could be improved: There was no successful air conditioning (should not be mentioned as a feature). It was quite hot and since it is the first floor you really can't keep the windows open at night.
It is not a good place to stay if you have a baby stroller. Difficult to get in/out.
The TV was like a decoration.. the only thing I didn't try was changing the batteries on the remote. The TV simply did not work.
