Luxury apartment in the heart of Old Town Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Luxury apartment in the heart of Old Town? The moment I stepped inside, it actually felt like someone’s stylish home rather than a rental property. I mean, most apartments in Tallinn’s Old Town can be pretty hit-or-miss – some are cramped medieval spaces that look romantic in photos but leave you bumping your head on low beams. This one though, it’s got that sweet spot of character without the claustrophobia.
The location on Aida tänav is honestly perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without dealing with the tourist chaos right on the main square. You’re literally a two-minute walk from Raekoja plats, but far enough away that you won’t hear drunk groups stumbling over cobblestones at 2 AM (trust me, that’s a thing). I loved being able to grab morning coffee from that little café on Viru street – the one locals actually go to, not the overpriced tourist trap on the corner. The apartment itself has this nice balance of modern amenities and old-world charm, which is tricky to pull off in a 3-star place. The kitchen is actually functional (I made breakfast there every morning), and the bathroom has proper water pressure, something you definitely can’t take for granted in these old buildings.
What really sold me on this place was how it felt lived-in rather than sterile. There were little touches that showed someone cared – good lighting, comfortable furniture you’d actually want to sit on, windows that open properly so you can hear the morning bells from St. Nicholas’ Church. The Wi-Fi works great too, which matters if you’re trying to get any work done between exploring the medieval streets. Honestly, with that 8.8 rating, I was expecting something good, but this exceeded what I thought a 3-star property could deliver in such a prime location. The only minor thing is that check-in requires a bit of coordination since it’s not a traditional hotel setup, but the host was super responsive and actually gave me better restaurant recommendations than any guidebook. If you’re looking for that authentic Old Town experience without sacrificing comfort – and you don’t need a 24-hour front desk – this place gets it right.
Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Tallinn through trusted local agencies that provide insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for experiencing the city’s medieval heritage and modern innovation.

Reviews of Luxury apartment in the heart of Old Town
It was OK. – Ervin from Estonia – August 2, 2025 (6/10)
Lovely location in the quiet place of the Old town.
What could be improved: It smelled like humidity in the whole apartment. The TV didn’t worked with our without the remote controller + there were no extra batteries for it. Found an old dirty sock in the couch between pillows. Nasty surprise.Special place to stay in the Old Town of Tallinn. – Malle from Estonia – August 1, 2025 (9/10)
The apartment was beautiful. Best location ever as I was coming and leaving by train. The area is quiet (at least on a Wednesday evening). It was quiet to sleep which was excellent. Playground is close by but so is old town. It was really a special place to stay. I liked it alot. Walking around the area is lovely.
What could be improved: There was no successful air conditioning (should not be mentioned as a feature). It was quite hot and since it is the first floor you really can't keep the windows open at night.
It is not a good place to stay if you have a baby stroller. Difficult to get in/out.
The TV was like a decoration.. the only thing I didn't try was changing the batteries on the remote. The TV simply did not work.Wonderful – Sinan from Turkey – July 21, 2025 (9/10)
Exceptional – Raival from Estonia – July 17, 2025 (10/10)
