What I really appreciated was how the hotel fits into this context – it doesn’t try to compete with the big chain properties downtown, but instead leans into the bohemian, artistic energy that makes this district so compelling. You’ll find yourself wandering past art studios and quirky cafes on your way back from dinner, and the whole area has this lived-in authenticity that’s getting harder to find in European capitals.

The 8.4 rating really reflects what I experienced – solid hospitality without the pretense. Check-in was genuinely friendly (not that rehearsed hotel smile thing), and the staff actually seemed to know their neighborhood well enough to give recommendations that felt personal rather than scripted.
