Loft Noblessner Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Loft Noblessner? I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place, honestly – but this spot completely changed my mind about what a hotel can be when it’s in the right location with the right vibe. It’s tucked into Tallinn’s Noblessner quarter, which used to be this massive submarine shipyard (I mean, how cool is that?) and now it’s become this incredible waterfront district that most tourists haven’t discovered yet. The building itself has this industrial-chic thing going on – exposed brick, high ceilings, those big windows that actually open, which is something you don’t always get in newer places.
What really gets me about this place is how it feels like you’re staying in a neighborhood rather than a tourist bubble. The Noblessner area has this authentic Estonian energy – there’s a weekend market that locals actually shop at, not just tourists taking photos, and you’ve got the Seaplane Harbour museum literally next door if you’re into that sort of thing. But honestly, I spent most mornings just walking along the waterfront with coffee from the little café downstairs. The rooms themselves are surprisingly spacious for Europe – I guess that’s the loft concept working – and they’ve kept some of the original industrial details while making everything feel warm and livable. The bathrooms are actually modern (thank god), and I never had issues with hot water or weird European shower situations.
Here’s the thing though – and this is important – you’re about a 15-minute walk from Old Town, which some people might see as a downside, but I actually loved it. It meant I could escape the cruise ship crowds whenever I wanted, but still pop over to see all the medieval stuff when the mood struck. The tram connections are solid if walking isn’t your thing, and honestly, the walk takes you through parts of Tallinn that feel more real than the postcard-perfect tourist areas. Parking was never a nightmare either, which anyone who’s driven in European cities will appreciate. The staff seemed to genuinely know the area – when I asked about restaurants, they didn’t just hand me a generic list, they asked what I was in the mood for and gave me actual directions to places where I ended up being the only foreigner. That 8.9 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be luxury, but it delivers on everything it promises and then some. If you want to experience Tallinn like you actually live there for a few days, rather than just checking boxes off a tourist list, this is your spot.
Best hotels in Tallinn range from charming boutique properties in the medieval Old Town to elegant modern hotels with stunning views of Tallinn Bay and ancient city walls.

A nice stay that feels like home! – Georgios from Greece (9/10)
The room is spacious with every amenity you need for a budget friendly accomodation. The location is very good, just outside the walls of the old town while public transport is available nearby and the ferry terminal is close by foot. The host is helpful and replied to anything that may occur during your stay. The building complex is unique with 24hour surveillance which is a plus. It is quiet, bright and feels equipped. I would definitely suggest it to anyone and i'd stay again!
