I mean, sure, it’s a 3-star property, so don’t expect marble bathrooms or a concierge, but honestly? Sometimes that’s exactly what you want. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward – none of that over-the-top “welcome experience” nonsense, just genuine helpfulness when you need it.

The thing that really won me over was all the little details that show someone actually thought about how real people travel. There’s proper counter space in the kitchen area (finally, a place that understands you might want to make coffee without playing Tetris with your toiletries), decent Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out every time your neighbor starts streaming Netflix, and – this might sound small but trust me – really good blackout capabilities for those summer nights when it stays light until practically midnight. The location works well too, though I’d definitely recommend getting familiar with the local transport options if you’re planning to explore beyond walking distance. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle during busier times, but that’s pretty standard for this type of urban setup. What I appreciated was how quiet it stays at night – you get that residential vibe without the party-hostel chaos, but you’re still close enough to interesting stuff that you won’t feel stranded. It’s the kind of place where you can actually get a good night’s sleep and wake up feeling like you’re experiencing the city as more than just a tourist passing through.

  Very central, just minutes away from the Old Town. Bus to the airport also stops right in the front of the building.
  Apartment is spacious and well equipped with everything one would need for a few day stay. There is floor heating in the bathroom.
  Had a bit of trouble getting in, but the owner was helpful and responsive and gave me a call within few minutes. Also, all the instructions how to get there were clear and provided in advance.

  If you are taking Bus #2 from the airport, the property is just on the opposite side of the street. It's no more than 10 minutes' walk to the Tallinn old town. There are 2 big shopping malls with restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The apartment is quite spacious and well-equipped, especially the kitchen ware and furniture. It's good for long and short stay. The owner gives clear instructions on key pickup, so it makes everything quite easy. After you enter the gate, turn right to the end and that's where the apartment is located. There is a double bed in the room and a sofa (might be a sofa bed), and there's another sofa in the living room, which might be a sofa bed as well. I specially like the bay window, which is so cozy that I almost fall asleep on the bay window. Wifi works well.

  The location is perfect, near the old town. Also there is a supermarket near that you can buy food and other staff. There was a place to leave a car. Instructions were very detailed so it was easy to find the location. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We stayed with the kids so it was very cozy for them to play near the window.

  The apartment has been recently completely renovated and it's very spacious, bright and full equipped. The bathroom is really big and it has everything you need too. The sofa bed in the living room is very comfortable.
  Even the position is a very strong point of Kaubamaja apartment, just 10 minutes walking distante from the Old Town.
  Overall, I'd really recommend staying here!
