You know what caught me off guard about Kalevi Panorama? The name actually delivers on its promise – which honestly doesn’t happen that often with hotels. I mean, when you’re dealing with a 3-star place, you’re usually tempering expectations, but this spot genuinely surprised me with those sweeping views that make you pause mid-conversation.
The thing is, I’ve stayed in plenty of mid-range hotels that try too hard to punch above their weight, but Kalevi Panorama seems to understand exactly what it is and leans into it. The lobby has this unpretentious warmth – not trying to be fancy, just clean and welcoming with staff who actually seem to know the area. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that drawn-out process where they’re trying to upsell you every amenity. And here’s something I appreciated – the rooms are sized properly. I mean, they’re not sprawling suites, but there’s enough space to actually open your suitcase without playing Tetris with the furniture.
What really sets this place apart though is how it handles the details that matter when you’re traveling. The WiFi actually works (revolutionary, I know), the beds are properly firm without feeling like you’re sleeping on concrete, and – this might sound minor but it’s huge – the shower has decent water pressure. Plus, the windows in most rooms really do showcase why they went with “Panorama” in the name. Whether you’re an early riser catching sunrise or someone who likes to unwind with a view in the evening, there’s something genuinely relaxing about looking out over the landscape. The 9.4 rating makes complete sense once you’re there for a day or two. It’s not about luxury or having every possible bell and whistle – it’s about doing the fundamentals really well and creating this atmosphere where you can actually relax. I found myself spending more time than usual just hanging out in the room because it felt comfortable, not like I needed to escape to find a decent spot to decompress. For a 3-star hotel, that’s actually pretty remarkable.

very enjoyable First of all, the contact with the owner was quick and effective. Additionally, Olga accommodated our request to arrive somewhat early which helped us a lot. The flat is very well designed and equipped. We were pleasantly surprised that it was also stocked with various basics of all sorts (such as coffee, tea, apples, box of chocolates, as well as cosmetics and household chemicals). All of this combined made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Definitely recommended.
Beautiful and modern Modern, clean apartment close to the central bus station (8 min by foot) and airport (short taxi ride). Everything was comfortable and newly renovated. We loved the apartment and would gladly stay here again.

Exceptional Marvelous apartment! Comfortable situation with parking garage and lift. Very nice host. As we like walking, 30 minutes to the center were fine for us. For others, public transport is around the corner. We would definitely come again!
Wonderful Modern and spacious apartment, there is almost everything you need and a free parking place is also a big plus for me. Nice surprise was to find two bottles of quality water and a box of chocolates from the fridge!
Exceptional Quiet neighborhood. Very peaceful place and still conveniently located near the grocery. Also, it's a few minutes bolt taxi ride to the 24hr grocery. Complete with washing machine and other essentials. It even has bidet spray! 100% will stay here again.

It was perfect The apartment was cozy, warm, clean with the exact location. Everything you need was there, which made you feel at home rather than in a foreign place.
The host (Olga) was very nice and kind, and gave information about everything important to know, how to arrive and helped if needed
Good stay It is quiet neighborhood, easy access to everywhere (center 15 min walk, airport 10 min with car (if no rush hour). Quick response from host. I would stay again.
