Everything’s clean and modern but not in that sterile hotel way. The kitchens are actually functional (I cooked breakfast there multiple times), and the beds are proper comfortable, not just Instagram-pretty. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night despite being in a neighborhood that’s definitely coming alive – the old brick walls are thick, so you get that urban energy during the day but can actually sleep. The 9.6 rating makes complete sense when you experience how smoothly everything runs; check-in was seamless, the WiFi never dropped, and when I had a tiny issue with the shower pressure, they sorted it within an hour.

Here’s the thing about staying in Kalamaja though – you’re a pleasant 15-minute walk from Old Town, but you’re also right in the middle of where Tallinn’s young creatives actually hang out. There’s this fantastic morning market that happens nearby (I think it’s Thursdays and Saturdays?), and some of the city’s best coffee shops are literally around the corner. The Seaplane Harbour museum is practically next door if you’re into that sort of thing – and honestly, even if you’re not usually a museum person, it’s pretty incredible. What struck me most was how the neighborhood changes throughout the day; mornings are quiet with people heading to work, afternoons buzz with the creative crowd working from cafes, and evenings have this lovely relaxed vibe as locals walk their dogs or grab drinks at the smaller bars. You’re not staying in tourist-land, you’re staying where the city actually lives and breathes, which for a 3-star place with these kinds of ratings, feels like you’ve discovered something most people miss entirely.

  Мне всё очень понравилось. Чистота идеальная, красивая обстановка, новая мебель. В апартаментах есть необходимая посуда, кухонная техника, полотенца и т.д, бесплатный интернет. Можно с комфортом провести время. Хозяйка очень приветлива, внимательна и быстро отвечает на сообщения. Я много путешествую, но редко встречаю такой радушный приём. Кодовый замок даёт определенную свободу в выборе времени заезда. Да и сам район в центре города очень удобен, чтобы быстро везде добраться, есть много мест, где можно хорошо перекусить. При повторном посещении Таллинна, снова остановлюсь здесь.
