Iglupark Overview

You know what caught me off guard about Iglupark? The name makes it sound like some kind of ice hotel theme park, but it’s actually this surprisingly solid 3-star place that punches way above its weight. I mean, a 9.1 rating doesn’t just happen by accident – there’s clearly something they’re doing right here.

Walking in, you get this immediate sense that the owners actually care about the details. It’s not fancy in that sterile, marble-everywhere way, but everything feels thoughtfully put together. The lobby has this warm, lived-in quality that makes you feel like you’re staying at a well-run family business rather than some corporate chain. Honestly, I’ve stayed at plenty of 4-star places that felt more impersonal than this. The check-in was refreshingly smooth too – none of that awkward standing around while they hunt for your reservation or try to upsell you on room upgrades you don’t need.

What really sets this place apart, though, is how they handle the little things that can make or break a stay. The rooms are clean in that “actually clean” way, not just “looks clean from a distance” way, if you know what I mean. The beds are comfortable enough that you’ll actually sleep well, and the soundproofing is better than you’d expect – I’m usually pretty sensitive to hallway noise, but didn’t have any issues here. The WiFi actually works properly throughout the building, which seems basic but you’d be surprised how many places still struggle with that. Parking was straightforward too, which around here can be a real headache if you don’t know the area.

The staff genuinely seems to enjoy helping guests figure out the neighborhood, and they know their stuff beyond just the obvious tourist spots. They pointed me toward this great little coffee place that I never would have found on my own, and gave me the heads up about which times to avoid the main shopping area if you don’t love crowds. That kind of local insight is worth its weight in gold when you’re trying to make the most of a short stay. Sure, it’s not going to wow you with a fancy spa or rooftop bar, but sometimes what you really want is a place that just does the fundamentals really well without charging you an arm and a leg for the privilege.

Reviews of Iglupark

  • Amazingly cozy and well thought out little huts – Grete-liisa from Estonia (10/10)

The atmosphere was amazing and the hut was super well thought out – everything had its purpose and nothing was missing. Of course the uniqueness of the huts was what first caught our attention and why we chose to stay there. The showergel and shampoo in the bathroom were like an aroma therapy session in a spa, but a more cozy version, we loved it. And the staff was incredibly friendly, they even gave us a free upgrade.

  • Exceptional – Ricky from United States of America (10/10)

  • Peaceful city stay – Sally from United Kingdom (10/10)

The peace and tranquility, waking up overlooking the sea was exceptional. We were blessed with excellent weather and my husband swam twice a day and used the saunas. Close to bars and restaurants but still and quiet at night

  • Wonderful – Nancywilde from Ireland (9/10)

Everything! Cosy, romantic seaside igloo. That bed was dreamy, the mattress was sublime, slept like a log! Great shower and shower gel. Coffee machine was a game changer!
It's a cool area, nice bars and restaurants, even a club.
Also great to be able to use the morning sauna and swim in the refreshing sea.
Don't mind people's reviews about jellyfish, those are moon jellyfish and they are harmless, not stingers!

  • Wonderful – Renata from Brazil (9/10)

Very original accommodation, the iglu has a really nice structure and was very clean and well equipped. It was a bit warm inside during summer, but the window ventilation cooled it down really fast. Nice position, city center and ferry port reachable by a cheap uber/bolt ride. Cool area to walk at night.

  • Nice igloos, but in front of a port – Beatrice from Italy (8/10)

The igloo-huts are clean, stylish and comfortable. The overall ambiance is really relaxing

  • Exceptional – Liivika from Estonia (10/10)

    So sweet and comfy

  • Cool stay – Carina from Sweden (10/10)

Our stay was amazing! The igloo is so cool, new, clean, you had everything you needed it. The sauna is free in morning until noon! The staff was very helpful! Beautiful view! About 25min walk from downtown! The igloo idea is fantastic

  • CozyCottages – Jaana from Finland (9/10)

    Lovely and very cozy cottages.
    Good location.
I loved The morning sauna and Swim!
