You know what surprised me most about Hessnery Hotel? It’s one of those places that completely defies its three-star rating – honestly, I’ve stayed in plenty of four and five-star places that couldn’t hold a candle to this gem. When I first walked into the lobby, I actually did a double-take because the level of attention to detail was just… well, it wasn’t what I expected from a mid-tier hotel.

The staff here – and I mean this genuinely – they remember your name after one conversation. Not in that forced, corporate training way, but like they actually care about making your stay memorable. I was dealing with a delayed flight situation (you know how those go), and the front desk manager went out of her way to adjust my check-in without me even asking. It’s those small gestures that stick with you long after you’ve left. The rooms themselves are smartly designed too – someone clearly thought about how real people actually use hotel spaces. There’s enough outlets near the bed, the bathroom lighting doesn’t make you look like a zombie, and the beds… honestly, I slept better there than I do at home most nights. The soundproofing is surprisingly good as well – I mean, you’re not in complete silence, but you won’t be kept awake by hallway conversations or street noise.

What really sets this place apart though is how it feels like staying somewhere with character instead of just another cookie-cutter hotel experience. The common areas have this relaxed vibe where you’ll actually see guests hanging out and chatting – not just rushing through to get to their rooms. I ended up having coffee with a couple from Denmark who’d been coming back here for three years running, which tells you something about the kind of loyalty this place builds. The location works really well too, though you’ll want to know that it’s more of a neighborhood feel than right in the thick of tourist central (which I personally prefer – you get a better sense of the actual city that way). Parking wasn’t a nightmare either, which honestly made my entire trip less stressful. Look, no place is perfect – the elevator can be a bit slow during busy times, and if you’re someone who needs a massive fitness center, you might be disappointed. But for the price point and the genuine hospitality, Hessnery Hotel delivers something that’s becoming increasingly rare these days: an authentic experience that doesn’t feel manufactured. That 9.3 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen – it reflects what happens when a hotel actually cares about doing the basics exceptionally well.

Hotel in Tallinn booking should be done early, especially during White Nights season when the city hosts internationally acclaimed cultural and technology events.

  Korteris oli olemas kõik vajalik peatumiseks, mõnusaks ära olemiseks ja aja veetmiseks. Korter oli puhas, värske, mõnusa atmosfääriga, avara aknaga ja valgusküllane. Perega reisides on eriti hea, et olemas isegi pesu pesemise võimalus. Ja trenni huvilistele jõusaal.
