Harku Lake Apartment Overview

You know what surprised me about Harku Lake Apartment? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be fancy, but somehow gets all the important stuff right. I mean, when you first pull up to Järveotsa tee 3-22 in the Haabersti district, you’re not exactly thinking “wow, tourist paradise” – this is proper residential Tallinn, about 15 minutes from the Old Town buzz. But honestly, that’s kind of the point.

The apartment itself sits near Harku Lake (hence the name, obviously), and I actually loved waking up to that quiet, almost suburban feel. You can hear the water lapping if you open the windows, which is pretty nice after spending your days tramping around cobblestone streets downtown. The setup is straightforward – it’s a 3-star place that knows it’s a 3-star place, if you know what I mean. Clean, functional, with that slightly sparse but comfortable vibe you get in Northern European rentals. The kitchen actually has proper plates and glasses, not those flimsy things some apartment rentals stick you with. Parking was easy too, which – trust me on this – is worth mentioning in any Baltic capital.

What I really appreciated was how the location works once you figure it out. Sure, you’re not stumbling back from Raekoja plats at midnight, but there’s a decent bus connection into the center, and honestly? After three days of tourist crowds, coming back to this quiet pocket felt like a relief. The neighborhood has that lived-in Estonian feel – you’ll see locals walking their dogs around the lake path, kids on bikes, that sort of thing. Plus there’s a small grocery store maybe a 5-minute walk away where you can grab basics without the Old Town markup. The 7.8 rating makes sense to me – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it won’t disappoint either. I’d say it works especially well if you’re staying more than a couple nights and want to actually live somewhere rather than just crash between sightseeing. The trade-off is real though – you’re choosing space and quiet over being in the thick of things, so just know that going in.

To book hotel in Tallinn during the famous Tallinn Music Week season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts medieval history enthusiasts and digital innovation lovers from around the world.

Reviews of Harku Lake Apartment

  • Very Good – Francisco from Spain – August 15, 2025 (8/10)

Cerca de la playa del lago
    Limpio
Árboles al asomarte a la ventana
    Luminoso

    Cocina poco equipada, nevera enana.

  • Very Good – Helle from Estonia – August 11, 2025 (8/10)

Asukoht hea, lihtne sisse ja välja registreerimine. Korteris enam-vähem kõik vajalik olemas. Hinna -kvaliteedi suhe väga hea.

What could be improved: Wc paberit oli jäätud kahele kaheks ööpäevaks veerand rulli.

  • Very Good – Tatjana from Estonia – August 1, 2025 (8/10)

What could be improved: Очень маленький холодильник.

  • Not worthy – Tabassum from Finland – July 19, 2025 (4/10)

What could be improved: There was no accessories in the washroom, the sofa combed had a very hard base on the pillow side.

  • Very Good – Annariga from Latvia – June 8, 2025 (8/10)

Comfortable large bed, clean apartment, few minutes walk away from the Harku lake.

  • A budget-friendly accommodation in a quiet residential area near a lake. – Janina from Belgium – May 12, 2025 (7/10)

The apartment is airy and bright. It is a comfortable budget-friendly accommodation for a few days. The large double bed is comfy and there is a washing machine in case you're staying longer. It's on 6th floor, and very quiet and peaceful.

What could be improved: If you are sensitive to morning light, bring an eyemask (which we did): the apartment doesn't have night curtains and you'll be woken up to direct sun in your face. The kitchen could be just a little better equipped (a pot big enough to make pasta for 2, a colander, maybe a coffee pot).

  • Very Good – Linas from Lithuania – April 28, 2025 (8/10)

    Paprastas švarus butukas Geras internetas.

  • Good – Yurii from Ukraine – December 16, 2024 (7/10)

What could be improved: Машину негде припарковать. Парковка бесплатная ,но вечером все занято. Ездили около 30мин. Искали где припарковаться.

  • University Worker – Peter from Hungary – October 27, 2024 (9/10)

Near to the University and a calm place to rest.

What could be improved: The microwave oven was demolished by the previous guest I think.

  • Wonderful – Intars from Latvia – October 10, 2024 (9/10)

What could be improved: No parking place
