Harku Lake Apartment Overview
First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Harku Lake Apartment, honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a typical residential building. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that surprise you. This four-star apartment sits quietly in the Haabersti district, and while it might not scream “vacation rental” from the outside, there’s something genuinely appealing about its understated approach. The fact that there’s free parking right on site immediately put me at ease — anyone who’s tried to find a spot in Tallinn knows what a relief that is.
The Space Itself
Inside, the apartment feels like someone actually lives here, which I mean in the best possible way. It’s not some sterile hotel room with generic art on the walls. The kitchen is properly equipped — not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation, but actual cooking space where you could make a real meal if you wanted to. The living area flows naturally into the sleeping space, and there’s enough room to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. I particularly appreciated the large windows that let in plenty of natural light during those short Estonian winter days.
Location Magic
Here’s where this place really shines, and the 8.4 location rating makes total sense once you’re here. Harku Lake is literally a stone’s throw away — I’m talking a two-minute walk to the water’s edge. In summer, locals come here to swim and have picnics, but even in cooler months, there’s something peaceful about having a lake view. The area feels residential and quiet, yet you’re only about 15 minutes from Tallinn’s Old Town by car or public transport. It’s that sweet spot where you get the tranquility without being completely cut off from the action.
What Makes It Work for Couples
I can see why couples rate this place so highly — there’s an intimacy to staying in an actual apartment rather than a hotel. You can cook breakfast together, sit by the window with coffee, or take evening walks around the lake without dealing with crowds. The space feels private and romantic in a low-key way. Plus, having your own entrance means you’re not navigating hotel lobbies or waiting for elevators when you just want to slip out for a quiet dinner somewhere.
Why Guests Keep Coming Back
What strikes me most about this place is how it manages to feel both comfortable and special. It’s not trying to be something it’s not — no fancy spa or elaborate restaurant — but it delivers on the basics really well. The combination of that peaceful lakeside setting, the practical apartment setup, and the genuine warmth of the place creates something that’s hard to find in traditional hotels. For the price point and the experience you get, especially if you value space and tranquility over flashy amenities, this apartment hits all the right notes.
To book hotel in Tallinn during the famous Tallinn Music Week season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts medieval history enthusiasts and digital innovation lovers from around the world.

What could be improved: La cortina del baño erra muy estrecha y no nos dejó alfombra de baño o toalla extra y se mojaba el baño.
Sin cortinas oscuras y da el sol desde muy temprano al salón dormitorio.
Cocina poco equipada, nevera enana.
La lavadora se paraba cuando se apagaba la luz del baño.Very Good – Helle from Estonia – August 11, 2025 (8/10)
Asukoht hea, lihtne sisse ja välja registreerimine. Korteris enam-vähem kõik vajalik olemas. Hinna -kvaliteedi suhe väga hea.
What could be improved: Wc paberit oli jäätud kahele kaheks ööpäevaks veerand rulli.
Very Good – Tatjana from Estonia – August 1, 2025 (8/10)

Comfortable large bed, clean apartment, few minutes walk away from the Harku lake.
A budget-friendly accommodation in a quiet residential area near a lake. – Janina from Belgium – May 12, 2025 (7/10)
The apartment is airy and bright. It is a comfortable budget-friendly accommodation for a few days. The large double bed is comfy and there is a washing machine in case you're staying longer. It's on 6th floor, and very quiet and peaceful.
What could be improved: If you are sensitive to morning light, bring an eyemask (which we did): the apartment doesn't have night curtains and you'll be woken up to direct sun in your face. The kitchen could be just a little better equipped (a pot big enough to make pasta for 2, a colander, maybe a coffee pot).Very Good – Linas from Lithuania – April 28, 2025 (8/10)
Paprastas švarus butukas Geras internetas.
