Finding a spot in Tallinn’s old areas is usually a nightmare, but having guaranteed parking included – that’s worth its weight in gold, especially if you’re planning day trips to Lahemaa or just don’t want to stress about your rental car.

What really makes this place work is the location. You’re walking distance from Telliskivi Creative City, where all the cool cafts and weekend markets happen, but you’re also close enough to catch the tram into Old Town when you want to do the touristy stuff. The Balti jaam market is maybe ten minutes on foot – perfect for picking up fresh bread and local cheese. I spent a morning there just wandering around, and it felt way more authentic than the souvenir shops near Town Hall Square. The neighborhood has this interesting mix of young Estonian families and creative types, so you get great coffee shops (seriously, try Klaus) but also normal grocery stores and pharmacies. It doesn’t feel like a tourist bubble, which I appreciated. The 8.9 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed there – it’s not luxury, but everything works properly and the host clearly pays attention to details. The Wi-Fi is solid if you need to work, and honestly, the bed was more comfortable than some four-star hotels I’ve stayed at. My only small complaint would be that the shower pressure could be stronger, but that’s pretty typical for older European buildings.

Hotel in Tallinn booking should be done early, especially during White Nights season when the city hosts internationally acclaimed cultural and technology events.

  What could be improved: Für den Preis war alles wirklich sehr gut. Mit richtigen Blackout Gardinen im Schlafzimmer, wäre unser Aufenthalt in der Wohnung aber absolut perfekt.
