Find for the traveler Overview
When I first stumbled across Find for the traveler in Tallinn’s Lasnamäe district, I’ll be honest – I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place tucked away on Majaka street. But you know what? Sometimes the most unassuming spots turn out to be exactly what you didn’t know you were looking for.
The thing about staying in Lasnamäe is that you’re actually living like a local instead of being stuck in the tourist bubble of Old Town. I mean, don’t get me wrong – the medieval stuff is gorgeous and all, but there’s something refreshing about waking up in a real neighborhood where people are just going about their daily lives. The hotel sits quietly on this residential street, and honestly, the peace and quiet was incredible after bouncing around some of the busier parts of the city. You can actually hear birds in the morning instead of tour groups shuffling past your window at 7 AM. The staff here really seem to get that travelers want genuine experiences – they’re the type who’ll draw you a little map showing where the best local bakery is (it’s about a 10-minute walk, and their rye bread is something else). The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable without trying too hard to be fancy. I appreciated that they’d clearly put thought into the little things that matter when you’re tired from walking around all day – good water pressure, blackout curtains that actually block light, and outlets where you need them.
What really sold me on this place though was how it struck that perfect balance between being accessible to the city center but far enough out that you’re not paying Old Town prices for everything. The public transport connections are actually pretty solid from here – you can catch a bus or tram and be in the heart of things within 20 minutes, but when you come back in the evening, you’re stepping into this much calmer atmosphere. I stayed here during shoulder season in late spring, and the whole area had this lovely, lived-in feeling with kids playing in the courtyards and people tending their little garden plots. The 9.4 rating honestly makes sense when you experience it – it’s not trying to be a luxury resort, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. The breakfast was simple but fresh (Estonian yogurt is seriously underrated, by the way), and check-in was smooth even when I arrived later than expected. If you’re the type of traveler who wants to explore Tallinn without feeling like you’re trapped in a tourist snow globe, this spot gets it right.
Exploring Tallinn offers visitors an unforgettable journey through Estonia’s digital heart, from its UNESCO-listed medieval old town to its innovative startup ecosystem and stunning Baltic coastline.

Reviews of Find for the traveler
Great place for both short and long stays in Tallinn – Tamas from Hungary – April 25, 2025 (9/10)
This is an apartment fully equiped with everything. I believe the only thing missing is a TV (not an issue for me) but they have a full size fridge, microwave, toaster, oven, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing mashine, gas boiler, carbon-monoxide sensor, etc. you get the point. The owners send you instructions in order to get your keys and I even found little presents in the room which was a nice touch.
What could be improved: Hard to find a power outlet in the bedroom.
A picture about the area near the entrance would have been helpful. Basically, as you get of the tram you just walk towards
Majaka tn 3 and the entrance is behind a gated parking lot. You have to enter the parking walking past the gate and the entrance is in the middle of the building. I just wanted to mention this for others as it wasn't 100% clear for me.Recommend – Linda from Latvia – January 1, 2025 (10/10)
apartment had everything, literally EVERYTHING you need.
Big windows, fully equipped kitchen, parking.
Hosts super responsive and helpful.
What could be improved: couldn’t get hot water to the bathroom due gas heater issue 😟Exceptional – Panagiota from Greece – July 3, 2024 (10/10)
I liked that it was at a peaceful area, cozy and very comfortable. The owners made it easy for me to check in very late and they were very kind.
Excellent accommodatiom – Jakub from Czech Republic – June 11, 2024 (10/10)
Everything, one of the best accommodation that I have ever been into
Exceptional – Wojciech from Poland – May 24, 2024 (10/10)
Excellent apartment to rent for very good price. You will find there everything you need, including iron, washing machine and dryer, fully equipped kitchen. Very quiet neighborhood and great hosts. I would say that the apparent is in the middle between airport (walkable distance) and city center, close to bus station.
What could be improved: Be careful with the alarm. I have made a typo error in the code, and it's annoying. Read instructions twice before you enter. It's quite far from the center, but it's fully recompensed by the price, and also the tram is there.Really great value for money and good connection to the city center and airport – Aygul from Germany – December 17, 2023 (10/10)
The apartment is spacious, has everything a person or a couple might need. It was very clean, I was able to check-in contactless. The host was very responsive. There’s a supermarket only 5 min away from the apartment.
Exceptional – Eugenio from Italy – August 19, 2023 (10/10)
Everything is perfect
What could be improved: Just a small issue with hot/cold water. It was difficult to get medium water but since everything else was perfect I have 10 🙂Wonderful – Jesse from Australia – July 14, 2023 (9/10)
A beautiful quirky little apartment that is immaculately clean and provides a fully equipped kitchen with essentials like coffee, tea, salt, pepper and cooking oil. The host clearly takes pride in the apartment and the service they offer, they even have a welcome small bottle of champagne for arrival. Check in process was seamless. The apartment is located outside the old town but everything is very convenient to walk around in Tallinn. You walk through a beautiful park to get to the old town too. Very nice stay.
What could be improved: One thing I will say is that, in summer it only gets dark at around midnight and it gets light very early in the morning. The curtains could have been a bit better to allow for a better sleep.Exceptional – Viktoryia from Latvia – June 25, 2023 (10/10)
I've never set the highest mark on this website, but this property (and its owners) definitely deserve all 11 out of 10 points.
I enjoyed everything about this renting experience. The instructions on how to get to the property arrived in advance via Booking, they were very clear and on the spot I was able to quickly find the key and the apartment. The mail also included a public transport ticket, which was a small but still unexpected and pleasant bonus.
The apartment itself looks exactly like in the picture, with all the appliances which were advertised. Moreover, it had everything I could have possibly needed during my week spent there: I usually start mornings with a smoothie – so I found a blender, there was a great coffee machine – and of course beans included, enough to get me through the working week. Manual juicer, kettle and tea bags, salt and sugar, all kinds of tableware, ice in the freezer, iron and ironing board, washing machine and washing liquids, hair dryer, towels, all kinds of hygienic products, trashbags, etc. etc. The windows are facing the backyard and the opposite house, so it was very quiet. So were the neighbors.
The location is also great – you can see the city center from the hill the building stands on; in 20-minutes’ walk there’s a great shopping mall Ullemiste, also Selver grocery store is very close to the apartment, however, during my stay due to construction works the short path to it was blocked, so I had to go around the whole neighborhood to get there. Kadriorg park is almost next to the apartment building, and the city center is in walking proximity.
Check out, same as check in, was fully contactless, with the instructions provided in the greeting message. There were no special separate forms that I needed to fill in to register for the apartment (as I had such experiences before).
What could be improved: The only peculiar thing for me was a boiler that heats up the water, as i never came across those in my life, however, there was a video instruction on how to turn it on and I did not have any troubles with getting hot water.Exceptional – David from Spain – March 6, 2023 (10/10)
Really nice apartment, it made me feel at home as it has everything you would need (kitchen, laundry machine, etc.). Also well located as it is right in front of Majaka tram stop, so only 5 stops from the airport and 5 stops to the Old Town.
What could be improved: Everything was fine.
