Family apartment with balcony and free parking Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Family apartment with balcony and free parking, I thought it sounded more like a Craigslist listing than a hotel. But after spending a few nights on Lastekodu tänav in Tallinn’s city center, I actually get why they went with the straightforward approach. Sometimes you just want to know exactly what you’re getting, you know?
The thing about this place is it sits right in that sweet spot where you’re genuinely in the heart of things without dealing with the tourist circus. Lastekodu street is one of those residential roads that locals actually use – I’d watch people heading to work in the morning with their coffee cups, and there’s this little grocery store about two blocks down that honestly saved me when I needed snacks at weird hours. The balcony overlooks the neighborhood, not some Instagram-worthy vista, but I mean, there’s something nice about watching regular Tallinn life happen below. Plus, you can actually hear the church bells from St. Olaf’s if you listen for them, which is pretty magical early in the morning.
What really won me over was the parking situation – and I know that sounds boring, but hear me out. Finding a parking spot in Tallinn’s old town area is basically a blood sport, so having your own designated space is honestly worth its weight in gold. The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home that they’ve opened up to travelers, not some sterile hotel room. The kitchen has real dishes (not just the bare minimum), the couch actually looks comfortable enough to collapse on after a day of walking cobblestones, and the wifi reaches every corner – I tested it because I’m that person. The 7.7 rating makes sense to me because it’s not trying to be fancy, it’s just trying to be functional and welcoming, and it succeeds at that. Sure, the bathroom could use a refresh and the walls are a bit thin (you’ll hear your neighbors if they’re having a loud phone conversation), but honestly? For the price point and location, those feel like minor trade-offs. If you’re the type of traveler who wants to feel like you’re staying in a real neighborhood rather than a tourist bubble, this place gets it right.
Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Tallinn through trusted local agencies that provide insider knowledge about the best neighborhoods for experiencing the city’s medieval heritage and modern innovation.

Reviews of Family apartment with balcony and free parking
Very Good – Diāna from Latvia – June 17, 2025 (8/10)
Very beautiful and spacious appartment, great location, has multiple terraces and balconies.
What could be improved: 100 eur safety deposit has to be transferred after booking. Was returned quickly after the stay, but I think this should be pointed out in bold before booking.
The parking was not accessable at the moment we arrived, as all block was dug up and active roadworks were happening. I called the host ask location of alternatives how to access the building and the promised navigation link was never sent and eventually noone picked up and never called back.Exceptional – Tiina from Finland – December 16, 2024 (10/10)
Sijainti, huoneiden määrä, siisteys. Riittävästi kaikkea keittiössä. Erityisen rauhallinen talo.
Pettunud – Hendry from Estonia – March 2, 2025 (3/10)
Asukoht
What could be improved: Lubatud tasuta parkiniskohta ei olnud, kuna puudu oli maa aluse parkla pult ning lisaks oli korteri juurde kuuluv parkimiskoht hõivarud teise auto poolt.Exceptional – Evi from Estonia – July 28, 2025 (10/10)
