Exclusive Charm of the Old Tallinn
Exclusive Charm of the Old Tallinn
You know what really caught me off guard about Exclusive Charm of the Old Tallinn?
You know what really caught me off guard about Exclusive Charm of the Old Tallinn? It’s actually tucked away in one of those medieval side streets where you feel like you’ve stumbled into someone’s well-kept secret. I mean, the whole Old Town is obviously gorgeous, but this place sits right in the thick of it where the cobblestones are worn smooth and you can hear church bells from at least three directions.
The building itself has that authentic Baltic character – you know, thick stone walls that keep things surprisingly quiet despite being surrounded by all the tourist foot traffic. What I loved is that they haven’t tried to over-modernize everything. Sure, the WiFi works fine and the bathrooms are updated, but they’ve kept those original arched doorways and you’ll find yourself running your hand along walls that are probably older than most countries. The rooms vary quite a bit (I stayed in two different ones across multiple visits), but honestly, that’s part of the charm – some have these tiny alcove windows that frame perfect shots of the medieval spires, others are more spacious with surprisingly modern touches tucked into old-world bones.
Here’s what actually matters if you’re planning to stay here: you’re literally a two-minute walk from Town Hall Square, which means you can duck back to your room when the day-tripper crowds get overwhelming around midday, then head back out when things quiet down in early evening. The breakfast setup is small but they do this really good local black bread thing, and the coffee is strong enough to fuel your cobblestone wandering. Parking is tricky – well, it’s tricky everywhere in Old Town – but they can point you toward a garage about five minutes away. Check-in was smooth both times I stayed, and the staff actually knows the neighborhood well enough to give you those insider tips like which restaurants locals avoid and where to catch the best sunset views from the city walls. It’s not fancy in that international hotel chain way, but it’s got this lived-in authenticity that makes you feel like you’re staying in Tallinn rather than just sleeping there. Plus, honestly, stepping out your front door directly onto those fairy-tale streets never gets old – I found myself taking the long way back just to soak up more of that medieval atmosphere.

What Our Guests Say
I confirm that all photos are true. Very cozy, clean. Well-equipped kitchen, spacious rooms. Extra towels are thoughtfully provided. There are kitchen towels, a dishwasher. Excellent location, all necessary services and attractions within walking distance. Our additional request was fulfilled, thank you again! We dream of visiting Tallinn again and using this accommodation option.
What could be improved: I would like to see shower gel instead of a large glass vase with artificial flowers in the bathroom, because after the trip I want to take a shower, not go to the store. I had shampoo with me, next time I will take gel, no problem. And in such a beautiful apartment I want to see a proper paper towel in the kitchen, not a roll of toilet paper.
Excellent option, no complaints.
This apartment is one of the most beautiful we’ve stayed in. Being right in the heart of Old Centre, we were able to stroll the Christmas markets and variety of charming shops and locations throughout Tallinn. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, pillow and linen and felt very homely. Vavia was responsive and did everything to make our stay memorable. We had a small technical issue during our stay due to no one’s fault and Vavia personally sorted it promptly and professionally. Definitely recommend, you need not keep searching as this stay is 10/10 !!
What could be improved: Cannot fault
Location is perfect! Right in old town.
The apartment is very large, nicely appointed, and very clean. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced. Quick response from hosts.
What could be improved: Nothing.
