The bathroom’s compact but well-planned, and honestly, the water pressure was better than some four-star places I’ve stayed at.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – there’s something about the way sound travels differently in Tallinn compared to other European capitals, maybe because of all that medieval stone absorbing everything. During the day, you’ll hear the distant hum of the old town, church bells marking the hours, and the occasional tram rumbling along Narva maantee, but it all fades into this peaceful backdrop by evening. The 9.2 rating makes total sense when you factor in the details that actually matter: fast wifi (crucial for me), good heating (Estonia gets chilly, even in summer evenings), and a check-in process that was refreshingly straightforward. The location puts you within walking distance of both the touristy stuff – Toompea Castle, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral – and the more local spots like Telliskivi Creative City, where you can grab dinner without paying old town prices. I’d definitely book this place again, especially during shoulder season when Tallinn shows off its moody, atmospheric side and you really appreciate having a cozy base to retreat to.

  The apartment is right in the centre, but on a smaller street, so it is very quiet. The owner has made excellent use of the limited space – the apartment is well organized, looks lovely and has everything for a short stay. New appliances and furniture, very clean.
  
  What could be improved: Although the place itself if perfect, there are 2 external things the owner cannot control. The apartment is on a rather low ground floor (not below it), so you will have cars literally in the window. During my stay construction works began on the neighbouring lot, looks like they are building a new house.
