You know what caught me off guard about DreamsNest? I was expecting just another basic three-star spot in Tallinn’s northern district, but this place actually has some real personality. It’s tucked away on Puhangu Street in Põhja-Tallinn – honestly, I had to ask my taxi driver twice because it’s not exactly in the tourist bubble, but that turned out to be part of its charm.

The first thing you notice walking in is how quiet everything feels, which is pretty remarkable considering you’re still technically in the city. The staff genuinely seemed to remember guests’ names (not just pretending to check their computer screen), and check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no upselling, no lengthy explanations of amenities I didn’t ask about. The rooms themselves are what I’d call thoughtfully simple. Nothing fancy, but everything works properly, and honestly, after staying in places where the shower pressure was basically a gentle mist, I was thrilled that the water actually came out with some force here. The beds are surprisingly comfortable too – I mean, not luxury hotel level, but I slept well, which is really all that matters when you’re exploring a new city all day.

What I really appreciated was the location’s practicality. You’re about a 15-minute tram ride from Old Town, which means you can actually get back to somewhere quiet at the end of the day instead of dealing with the tourist crowds outside your window. There’s a small grocery store literally around the corner on Kopli Street – perfect for grabbing breakfast supplies or a bottle of wine. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel where you’ll see actual Estonians going about their daily routines, not just other travelers taking photos of everything. Parking was easy too, which anyone who’s driven in European city centers will tell you is basically a miracle. I stayed there in early October, and while the weather was getting crisp, the area felt safe walking around even after dark. The front desk recommended a little café about ten minutes away that served incredible coffee and pastries – the kind of local tip you only get when staff actually know their neighborhood. Look, DreamsNest isn’t going to wow you with marble lobbies or rooftop pools, but sometimes what you want is a place that does the basics really well without any pretense. That 9.1 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed there – it’s the kind of score you give a place that exceeds your expectations by simply being genuine and functional.

  Von außen ist das Gebäude nicht mehr so schön, aber die Wohnung ist in Ordnung. Sehr schön gelegen am Meer.

  Хорошие апартаменты, Много места, 2 комнаты + большой диван в гостиной. Есть плита и все принадлежности. Особенно хочется отметить баню. Из окна отличный вид и возле дома есть бесплатная парковка(всегда есть свободные места).
  
  What could be improved: Нету лифта и все вещи приходиться нести на 4 этаж. всего 1 ключи и 1 чип от входной двери в подъезд

  Чистый, просторный номер со всем необходимым. Приветливая и отзывчивая хозяйка всё показала, рассказала и была на связи, когда возникали вопросы. Вид из окна/балкона очень красивый, как и сам район, гулять там – одно удовольствие. Всем советую!
