Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Dream Stay – Volta Spacious Studio Loft with AC on Tööstuse street, I wasn’t expecting much from the industrial-looking neighborhood. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are in these slightly off-the-beaten-path spots in Põhja-Tallinn, and this place totally proved that point.

The loft itself is actually impressive – and I mean genuinely spacious, not just “spacious for Europe” if you know what I mean. The ceilings are high enough that you don’t feel cramped, and there’s this nice industrial-chic thing going on with exposed elements that somehow manages to feel cozy rather than cold. The AC was a lifesaver during my summer stay (honestly, you can’t take that for granted in Estonia), and it’s whisper-quiet, which matters when you’re trying to sleep. The kitchen setup is pretty solid too – I actually cooked a few meals there instead of eating out every night, which my wallet definitely appreciated.

What I really liked about staying here was the whole vibe of the area. Tööstuse street might not sound glamorous, but you’re actually in this interesting part of town that’s sort of between the tourist zones and where real Tallinn life happens. There’s this great little café about a five-minute walk away that serves proper Estonian breakfast, and the tram connections are honestly better than I expected – you can get to Old Town in maybe 15 minutes without any hassles. Parking was surprisingly easy too, which anyone who’s driven in European cities will appreciate. The building itself is quiet most of the time, though you’ll hear some street noise during morning rush hour – nothing terrible, just the sounds of a city waking up.

The check-in process was smooth, and the host actually gave me some solid recommendations for places that weren’t on every tourist blog. Small touches like good WiFi (actually fast, not just “works”), decent water pressure in the shower, and a comfortable bed made the difference between a place you sleep in and a place you actually want to hang out in. I mean, the 8.8 rating makes sense when you experience it – it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything just works well. If you’re the type who wants to be right in the thick of things, this might feel a bit removed, but if you appreciate having a proper space to decompress while still being connected to the city, it hits that sweet spot perfectly.

  Местонахождение — это главный плюс. Хороший аутентичный район, который находится в доступной близости от портового района Noblessner. Недалеко отличные места для покупок и времяпровождения Т/Ц "Arsenal" с великолепной рыбной лавкой "Kalapood" и outlet магазинами, а также пивной ресторан на пивоварне "Põhjala".
  В здании всё относительно свежо и более-менее чисто, хотя и без изысков.
  
  What could be improved: Обычная цена за апартаменты в общем-то высокая, значит анонсируется люксовый кластер, но это не так: в принципе — это просто обыкновенные нормальные апартаменты.
  За эту цену можно организовать телевизор и кофемашину, которых нет и в помине.
  Не работает вентиляция в ванной комнате.
  Также уборка была сделана не на все 100%.

  Asunto oli siisti ja viihtyisä, ja sijainti toivottu josta hyvät kulkuyhteydet julkisilla. Hyvä hinta-laatusuhde .
  
  What could be improved: Asunnon avaimien saaminen huonosti järjestetty ja aiheutti sekaannuksia. Saimme ensin väärän koodin ja soittaessamme as.palveluun kerrottiin että kaikki tieto löytyy sähköpostista tai booking com-viesteistä.
  Saimme kuitenkin toimivan koodin puhelussa.
  
  Asettaessamme ulko-oveen avainkorttia oli hämmentävää että kortti tuli lukea numeroiden päällä, ei ns.lukijassa.Onneksi toinen asukas neuvoi meitä.
  
  Ja lähtiessämme pois saimme tiedon avainten palautuksesta postilaatikkoon, (koska ovea ei saanut lukkoon ilman avainta)
  
  Mitään postilaatikkoa ei kuitenkaan löydetty ja soitimme as.palveluun joka kertoi ynseästi että asunnon ovessa on ohjeet paperilla. Mitään paperia ei ovessa kuitenkaan ollut. Saimme sitten puhelimessa suulliset ohjeet(jotka tulivat myös meiliini meidän jo lähdettyä) avainten jättämisestä asuntoon.
  
  Eli: Ohjeet ristiriitaiset/puutteelliset, aiheuttivat turhaa hämmennystä.
  Asiakaspalvelu voisi olla vähän ystävällisempi.
  Telkkari puuttui myös, mikä voisi olla mukava.
