Dream Stay – Rotermanni City Apartment Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Dream Stay – Rotermanni City Apartment? How quiet it actually is despite being right in the thick of things on Roseni Street. I mean, you’re literally steps from all the Rotermanni Quarter action – those converted industrial buildings with the hip restaurants and design shops – but once you’re inside, it’s surprisingly peaceful.
The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel room, which honestly works in its favor. It’s got that lived-in comfort without being messy, if that makes sense. The kitchen is actually functional (I made coffee there every morning), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without tripping over suitcases. The 8.7 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be fancy, just really good at what it does. The windows face away from the main tourist flow, so you get natural light without the constant chatter of tour groups walking by. And speaking of practical stuff, the check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward waiting around in a lobby.
What I really appreciated was how it sits in this sweet spot location-wise. You can walk to Old Town in maybe eight minutes, but you’re also right where locals actually hang out in Rotermanni. There’s this excellent little bakery around the corner that most tourists miss, and honestly, being able to grab proper Estonian pastries for breakfast beat any hotel buffet I’ve had. The area gets lively during summer evenings – lots of outdoor seating and that buzz of people actually enjoying themselves rather than just checking things off a list. Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re driving (the streets are narrow and fill up), but there’s a garage nearby if you don’t mind paying extra. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted to feel more connected to how Tallinn actually works rather than just seeing the postcard version.

Exceptional – Art from Ireland – May 31, 2025 (10/10)
Clean apartment, superb city centre location
I loved our time in this apartment. The view is amazing, I felt like home and my experience of the trip to Tallinn becam – Elena from Russia – January 5, 2025 (9/10)
Great location, clean and overall amazing apartment! Would definitely come back next time!
What could be improved: Everything was fine, but I wish we had more toilet paper – we’ve been left with 1,5 rolls for 2 people and 5 nights. Also having a washing machine is great, but if there were at least a few washing pods it would have been amazing. Also maybe things like salt and oil since it’s an apartment with kitchen would be great.Good – Anastasia from Bulgaria – September 30, 2024 (8/10)
The location is just the best!
Not sure where all the negative reviews are about WiFi come from, the connection was stable and quick, I was able to work and watch YouTube with no interruptions.
What could be improved: Some minor maintenance has to be done like fixing the door handle and window openers since they were pretty loose.Exceptional – Johan from Estonia – June 12, 2024 (10/10)
Kristjan was a great host, very proactive.
The studio apartment is very nice, modern and clean, got everything needed for a perfect stay. It is ideally located in Rotermanni district, within walking distance to Old Town.
Very fast and solid Internet Wifi, with a good choice of foreign TV channels.
I'll be booking again for my next Tallinn getaway. This apartment was fantastic! – Helen from Netherlands – May 29, 2024 (9/10)
It was a super clean and nice apartment. The location was great! In Roterman quarter with many restaurants and a short walk to old town.
What could be improved: I liked everything. The bath tub was high for me I am only 148cm. For me no problem but not suitable for older people or disabled.Best in Tallinn so far – Petri from Australia – April 26, 2024 (10/10)
Quiet, bright and well maintained apartment in the heart of the city. Basically everything reachable by walking from this apartment. I sure will book this one again as well, subject to availability of course.
What could be improved: 100 deposit per stay is a bit stiff practise to handle and I believe some other mean of protecting the property from unwanted damages could maybe be better, especially if coming to Tallinn/Estonia from abroad and using non-Estonian banks.Exceptional – Knorn-nátrán from Hungary – May 23, 2023 (10/10)
Everything was awesome. The flat has a super location, close to the center. Very clean, well-equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much! Highly recommended!!!

Great central location.. comfortable stay.
A great place to stay – Greta from Malaysia – July 5, 2024 (9/10)
Communication with hosts was smooth and quick, the checkin process is easy. I liked the apartment – the kitchen was well equipped, it had all I needed. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Maybe bed could be more comfortable. It's in a great place.
What could be improved: I did not like the strong cleaning smell I felt when I arrived and it stayed the whole week (from chemicals), I wish they used something less strong. Also, the place gets very hot, and there is only a fan (no AC), the window doesn't do its justice properly even on colder days.Excellent – Joanne from United Kingdom – April 30, 2025 (10/10)
