You know what caught me off guard about Dream Stay – Main Square Apartment with Picturesque View? It’s one of those places that sounds almost too good to be true in the booking description, but then you walk in and think – okay, they actually delivered on this one. I mean, that 9.1 rating isn’t just people being generous.
The apartment sits right on the main square, and honestly, when I first saw the location I was a bit worried about noise. But here’s the thing – the windows are surprisingly good at keeping the hustle and bustle at bay, though you’ll still catch the occasional street musician or late-night revelers if you’re a light sleeper. What really gets you though is stepping out onto that little balcony in the morning with your coffee and watching the square come alive. The locals setting up their morning routines, tourists with their maps looking slightly lost – it’s like having a front-row seat to the city’s daily theater.
The apartment itself feels more spacious than you’d expect from the photos, which is rare these days. The kitchen’s actually functional (I cooked breakfast there twice), and the bathroom has one of those rainfall showerheads that makes you not want to leave. Small detail, but the Wi-Fi is solid throughout – worked perfectly even when I was video calling from the bedroom. The decor walks that fine line between stylish and comfortable without feeling like a sterile showroom. I particularly loved the oversized armchair by the window – spent way too many evenings there just watching people below while planning the next day’s adventures.
What really sold me on this place was how it strikes that perfect balance between being in the thick of everything and still feeling like a proper home base. You’re literally steps from the main cafés and shops, but the building itself is quiet enough that you can actually recharge. The check-in was smooth too – the host met me right at the entrance and gave me some genuinely useful tips about the neighborhood, not just the typical tourist stuff. Three stars might seem modest on paper, but honestly, this place punches way above its weight class. If you’re looking for somewhere that lets you live like a local while still being tourist-convenient, this is your spot.

What Our Guests Say
Location and views
Location was great! Beautiful room! Everything we needed. Great stay and very good value for money! Supermarket right around the corner. Good restaurants on the square and around. Safe area. Really great!
What could be improved: You have to walk a littlebit with your suitcases as the taxi cannot come in front of the appartment. But it was only short walk.
Loved the location and the bay window facing the Raekoja Plats allowed us to be part of the scene even while we were in the room! The apartment was spacious and the bedroom faces the courtyard so the bedroom is very quiet considering the central location. Looking forward to coming back!
Perfect location overlooking the Christmas market, would 100% stay there again.
What could be improved: It was perfect for the two of us, but I can imagine if you had more people in the spare bedroom it may be difficult having to share 1 en-suite bathroom.
It is was amazing New Year evening and night with a view to main square of the country. With plesuare will repeat it again!
having view over the main square
High roof
What could be improved: No bed light. Not lot of glasses for a family of four
Excellent location in the heart of Tallinn. Nice view to the old town square. Shop nearby. Nicely can cook your own food. Noise did not bother me if there was any. Note, that rooms have either sauna or bath, for me it was not clear if you can ensure, which one. Anyway, small sauna was nice, but kids sure like the bubbles. Very nicely renovated appartments. The key system was new for me, but got it and had good instructions. I recommend for those, who want to have own space and not always hotel stay.
We stayed in the One Bedroom apartments with Sauna. This is very best location in Tallinn. This building is probably the best building were you can live in Tallinn and apartment has one of the best views. Probably it is second apartment in Tallinn if you will try to rank these. So location makes it all.
Apartment corresponds to pictures. Has sauna (that we didnt used). Well equipped. It is big and bright. Host is very friendly.
What could be improved: Beds were bad. We were falling into the center of the bed. Washing machine was jumping like crazy. Also that damage deposit. I've stayed in a lot of apartments better than this one but no one wanted security deposit. Beware of this deposit thing.
Last thing to note, because of location it is very noisy. VERY noisy. Just something to consider (that is not the minus, of course).
Great place in a great location.
What could be improved: There wasn't a glass in the toilet window. We couldn't use the television. It was also tricky to use the shower. Shower curtain would also be nice.
