Cozy Lootsi Residence with Sauna and Balcony – Tallinn city centre Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name Cozy Lootsi Residence with Sauna and Balcony, I thought it was one of those overpromising apartment rentals that turns out to be a converted closet. But you know what? This place actually delivers on every part of that lengthy title, and then some.
The location is what really got me first – you’re genuinely in Tallinn’s heart without being stuck right in the tourist chaos around Town Hall Square. I mean, you can easily walk to all the medieval stuff and those Instagram-worthy cobblestone streets, but when you come back in the evening, it’s actually quiet enough to sleep. The balcony (and yes, there really is one) gives you this nice view over the neighborhood where you can watch locals going about their business instead of just endless streams of tour groups. I spent way too much time out there with morning coffee, honestly.
But here’s the thing that sets this place apart – that sauna isn’t just some tiny afterthought crammed into a bathroom corner. It’s a proper Finnish-style setup that fits maybe four people comfortably, and after walking around Tallinn’s hilly Old Town all day, it’s exactly what your legs are begging for. The whole apartment has this really thoughtful layout too, like someone actually considered how real people move through a space. The kitchen’s got everything you need if you want to grab ingredients from the market and cook (which I’d recommend – Estonian black bread and local cheese are seriously underrated), and the living area doesn’t feel cramped even when it’s raining and you’re stuck inside.
What surprised me most was how quiet everything stays, even though you’re centrally located. Maybe it’s the way these old buildings are constructed, or maybe I just got lucky with neighbors, but I never had those paper-thin-walls problems you sometimes get with city accommodations. The WiFi actually works properly too, which – let’s be real – can be hit or miss in historic European city centers. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that running around town to collect keys from random locations.
If I’m being completely honest, the shower pressure could be better, and the stairs up might be a bit much if you’re dealing with heavy luggage (though that’s pretty standard for this part of town). But those are minor things when you’re getting this much character and comfort. The 8.9 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not trying to be some luxury hotel experience, but it nails what it promises. You get that authentic Tallinn residential feeling while still having tourist-friendly amenities, plus that sauna situation is genuinely a game-changer after long sightseeing days. I’d definitely stay here again, and I’ve already recommended it to two friends planning Baltic trips.
Tallinn’s hotels showcase the perfect blend of medieval charm and modern comfort, with many featuring digital tour services and authentic Estonian hospitality.

Good location – very convenient for the old town, for eateries and for leaving luggage and taxis to the airport.

Comfortable, warm and everything we needed was there. LOVED having a sauna.

Location and the view were great, the apartment was cozy and spacious!
What could be improved: The sauna was a bit complicated to figure out, but we managed eventually!Aiza from Norway – 27 July 2024 (8/10)
Had a wonderful stay at this spacious and well-equipped apartment. The central location was perfect, with grocery stores and restaurants just a short walk away. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with extra pillows duvets. The AC worked great, keeping us cool throughout our stay, and the view from the apartment was simply fantastic.
What could be improved: The only minor issue was that the corners of the bathtub had a bit of mold, but everything else was perfect. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!Kenneth from Ireland – 19 February 2024 (9/10)
An absolutely beautiful apartment 🙂. A super location, near Old Town and so many amenities nearby. With balcony, sauna and ground to ceiling windows superb 👌. And when I was a little lost at the beginning in locating the building as so tired after travel superb support from Irina from the management company 🙂. Many, many thanks and I would highly, highly recommend and look forward to staying again 🙂.

Really lovely apartment with a nice sauna to relax in after a day of exploring Tallinn! The location is excellent for the port that Tallink ferries use if you’re coming from Helsinki. Also just a short walk into the old town. Highly recommend 🙂

The location is very convenient. Short walk from the ferry pier. A shopping mall is just around the corner.
What could be improved: The bath tub is a bit high to get in & out, and after taking shower the floor gets wet.Grzegorz from Poland – 13 August 2023 (9/10)
