I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Cozy 2-room studio on Läänemere tee, I wasn’t expecting much from the Lasnamäe district. Most tourists stick to Old Town, but you know what? They’re missing out. This little gem sits in what locals call the “Soviet sleeping district,” and while that might sound off-putting, it’s actually become one of Tallinn’s most interesting neighborhoods – plus you’re getting way more space for your money than you’d ever find in the touristy center.

The studio itself really lives up to that “cozy” name, though honestly, calling it a studio is underselling it since you get two proper rooms. The owner clearly put thought into the layout – there’s this nice separation between the living area and sleeping space that makes it feel way more spacious than the square footage suggests. I mean, you’re not going to host a dinner party here, but for a couple or even a small family, it works beautifully. The kitchen setup is actually pretty clever too (they’ve got everything tucked away efficiently), and the bathroom has one of those rainfall showerheads that you don’t usually see at this price point. The 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s those little touches that add up.

What I really appreciate about this location is how authentically Estonian it feels. You’re living where actual Tallinnians live, shopping at the same Rimi grocery store, grabbing coffee at spots that don’t have English menus. The tram stop is maybe a three-minute walk, and honestly, the public transport here puts most cities to shame – you’ll be in Old Town in about fifteen minutes. Parking is free on the street (good luck finding that downtown), and the neighborhood has this surprising energy, especially around Laagna tee where there are some decent restaurants that haven’t discovered they can charge tourist prices yet. Sure, it’s not as picture-perfect as the medieval walls and cobblestones, but if you want to actually experience how this city works rather than just Instagram it, this is your spot. The value is incredible – I’ve paid twice as much for half the space in central Tallinn, and you’re still close enough to everything that matters.

  Le logement est très bien situé (arrêt de bus à 50m). Il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans le logement qui est spacieux et propre. L'hôte était réactive. Le lit et le canapé sont confortables, la douche est très agréable.
  
  What could be improved: Il manque peut etre un sèche cheveux mais c'est facultatif, ça pourrait être un plus 🙂
