Everything has its spot, and I found myself appreciating how thoughtfully laid out it all is. The bed’s surprisingly comfortable (I was worried it might be one of those fold-out situations), and there’s actually decent storage space if you’re smart about packing. What I really loved was this little nook by the window – perfect for morning coffee or just watching people go by. The kitchenette is tiny but functional; you’re not cooking Thanksgiving dinner here, but you can definitely handle breakfast and simple meals without feeling like you’re playing Tetris with the appliances.

You know what really impressed me though? The attention to detail. There are these little touches that show someone actually stays in places like this – good lighting for reading, enough outlets where you need them, and the Wi-Fi actually works consistently (trust me, I had video calls). The bathroom’s small, sure, but it’s clean and the shower has decent water pressure. I’ve stayed at supposedly fancier places where the basics weren’t nearly as solid. The 8.4 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be something it’s not, but what it does, it does really well. If you’re the type who spends most of your time out exploring anyway and just needs a comfortable, clean base to crash, this place totally delivers. Just don’t bring three weeks’ worth of luggage – remember, it’s called XS for a reason.
