The balcony is genuinely spacious, not just “apartment spacious” where you can barely fit a chair. I spent most mornings out there with coffee, watching Tallinn wake up below while still feeling completely removed from the city noise. The private garden though – that’s the real gem here. It’s tucked away behind the building, and I actually didn’t even know it existed until the second day when I was exploring. There’s something almost secret about it, like you’ve discovered this hidden green space that other travelers completely miss. The whole setup reminds me of those converted buildings you find in European capitals where they’ve managed to preserve these little pockets of tranquility despite being smack in the center of everything.

Location-wise, you’re walking distance to Old Town – maybe fifteen minutes if you’re taking your time and stopping to look at things. The Rotermann Quarter is even closer, which honestly has some of the better restaurants these days anyway. Parking can be a bit tricky on Tartu maantee itself, but there are options nearby if you’re driving. What I really appreciated was how easy it was to get oriented from here – you can see the medieval spires from the balcony, so you never feel lost or disconnected from what makes Tallinn special. The neighborhood has that perfect mix of local life and accessibility that’s getting harder to find in city centers. You’ve got actual Estonian bakeries and corner shops within a block or two, but you’re not sacrificing convenience or dealing with the tourist crowds that camp out closer to Town Hall Square. The 9.1 rating makes complete sense once you’ve been there – it’s one of those places that delivers exactly what it promises, plus a few pleasant surprises you weren’t expecting.

  The entire house and the apartment itself looks brand new. Everything is provided (e.g. kitchen and bathroom essentials etc.). Apartment has a washing machine and dishwasher, and detergents are also provided for both. Quiet, as the apartment is facing the courtyard. Would definitely recommend this place.
  
  What could be improved: The building actually is huge, with about 15 or more entrances. It would be nice to know, that the correct one is located at SE facade, between the streets Tartu maantee and Lastekodu – it faces direction towards airport and bus station and opposite to the city center.
  The bathroom mirror lighting needs to be fixed. The general lighting in bathroom was enough, though.

  A wonderful apartment supplied with everything I needed for my stay! The kitchen was well stocked with basic things like sugar, coffee, tea, spices, etc. The location was great – close to bus and tram stops and to Tallinn's main bus station (I did not use a car). There were some nice places to get food and drinks nearby and a 24/7 supermarket at a walking distance of about 15 minutes. The host provided detailed instructions and information and answered all my questions.

  The room is very clean and comfortable. The washing machine with dryer. We also like the balcony a lot, we can enjoy the means there is really nice.

  Good localisation :
  – close to a fresh product market 🙂
  – only 25 minutes away (on foot) from the Old downtown of Tallinn (it was much quicker by rental scooter)
  – only 10 minutes away (by foot) from a big supermarket which was open 24/7
  – easy access to Lahemaa national park, but also only 5 minutes from the international airport
  
  What could be improved: It didn't seem possible to park the car for free.
  Because we came from abroad, we had a difficult time at the very beginning to undersand where and how to park our car.
  We finally discovered that the easiest was to download the EUROPARK application on the cell-phone and to find the closest and cheapest park around. We finally used the EP20 parking which was only 3 euros a day.
