Charming 1 bedroom apartment in the heart of Tallinn Overview
Honestly, when I first walked into this Charming 1 bedroom apartment in the heart of Tallinn, I wasn’t sure what to expect – the name’s a bit generic, you know? But it actually delivers on that promise in a quiet, understated way. You’re literally steps from Town Hall Square, which means you’ll hear the gentle hum of tourists during the day, but surprisingly, it gets pretty peaceful once evening rolls around. The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile rental – there’s a worn leather chair by the window that’s perfect for morning coffee, and the kitchen has those little touches that show someone cares (decent knives, a proper coffee maker, not just instant stuff). The hardwood floors creak a bit when you walk around, but honestly, it adds character in an old city like this.
What I really appreciated was how the place sits right in that sweet spot between Old Town’s cobblestone charm and the practical stuff you need. There’s a Rimi grocery store maybe two blocks away, and you can actually walk to most of the major sights without dealing with trams or taxis. The building itself is one of those classic Tallinn structures – thick walls that keep things cool in summer, though you might want to crack a window for air circulation. I mean, it’s not luxury by any stretch, but the 7.2 rating feels about right. The shower pressure is decent, the bed’s comfortable enough, and there’s reliable WiFi, which honestly covers most of what I need when I’m exploring a city. The only real downside is that parking can be tricky if you’re driving – street spots are limited and you’ll probably end up walking a few blocks from wherever you find space.
What really sold me on this place, though, was stumbling back late one evening after dinner at Olde Hansa (tourist trap, but fun) and realizing how perfectly positioned everything was. You’re close enough to duck back for a quick rest between sightseeing, but far enough from the main party streets that you’re not dealing with noise all night. The host left some local recommendations that were actually useful – not just the obvious stuff, but a bakery around the corner that opens early and makes incredible cinnamon pastries. For a three-star spot, it punches above its weight in terms of location and that lived-in comfort that makes you feel like you’re staying somewhere real rather than just passing through. If you’re the type who values being in the thick of things over fancy amenities, and you don’t mind a place that’s more authentic than polished, you’ll probably love it here.

Great location, coffee shop in the next building. Rimi just short walk away. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were so nice. They let me check in a bit earlier, I had a dog with me, so we didn’t have to sweat in the heat with the luggage for so long. Appreciate it! 🙏
Wonderful – Vaida from Lithuania (9/10)
We went to this place for the second time because we liked it, but the place of accommodation was changed. The place changed to a good one, right in the center of the city. The change was as expected.
