The Central Lootsi Penthouse sits right in the heart of Tallinn's old town area, and honestly, when I first walked into this place, I wasn't expecting much from the somewhat modest entrance on Lootsi street.

But you know what? Sometimes the best surprises come in understated packages. This 4-star spot punches way above its weight – that 9.4 rating isn’t just numbers, it’s actually earned.
What really gets me about this place is how they’ve managed to feel both central and peaceful at the same time. You’re literally a three-minute walk from Telliskivi Creative City (which, if you haven’t been, is where all the cool cafts and weekend markets happen), but the penthouse itself feels like you’re in your own little bubble above the city. The windows – and there are plenty of them – give you these sweeping views over Tallinn’s red rooftops that honestly make you want to just sit there with your morning coffee way longer than you planned. I mean, the light streaming in during those long summer evenings is something else entirely.
The space itself feels more like staying in someone’s really well-appointed apartment than a typical hotel room. There’s this lived-in quality that’s hard to fake – actual books on the shelves, art that doesn’t look like it came from a corporate catalog, a kitchen that’s clearly meant to be used. Speaking of which, if you’re the type who likes to grab groceries from Rimi (there’s one just down the street) and make your own breakfast, you’ll actually have proper counter space and decent knives to work with. The bed situation is solid too – none of that rock-hard European mattress nonsense you sometimes get. Parking can be a bit tricky in this part of town, but there’s usually street parking within a block or two if you circle around Põhja puiestee area. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, though I’d recommend giving them a heads up about your arrival time since it’s not a massive hotel operation. The only minor thing I’d mention is that weekend nights can get a little lively with people heading to and from the bars on Telliskivi, but honestly, good windows and the general bustle of city life kind of comes with the territory when you’re staying somewhere this well-located.

Spacious Excellent location, beautiful views, very spacious apartment. Host provided very easy to follow instructions on how to enter.
What could be improved: it's all good
Exceptional It was really nice and pretty, apartment have everything what is needed for staying. Also it’s really huge, contains two separated areas (two kitchens, two bathrooms and so on), so it’s possible to rent it with friends!
View is great, big windows make the apartment look great with lots of sun.
The building is near to Port, big shopping centers is the next building, very close. We liked it.
What could be improved: Internet connection a little bit slow, while I was working in some rooms, but not critical at all.
Great value for money An enormous apartment with a fantastic view. Clean and comfortable, and very quiet. About 15 mins walk from the old town centre and in a nice area with good bars, restaurants and a supermarket just a couple of minutes walk away.

Exceptional Perfect view, near the centre and the ferry
This is our best apartment in Tallinn so far for two families traveling together with children! What a great views! Beds were comfortable. Parking was great! Everything is near even few restaurants where to choose just down the corner. Roof terrace was nice PLUS! Next time we will spend one day just there! There were also two toilets, two showers, two kitchen, tho washing machines, nearly two of everything! :-D
What could be improved: Well, quite perfect indeed. If I have to find something negative it's hard. There was some issues to understand how all three air conditioner works, since seems there was only one remote for all the three machines. Some other rooms were bit hotter than others. Some other issues with toilet brush, it seem to be stucked or so.. just little issues, don't worry. To pick up keys, follow the instructions, there's also other key-lockers for some other apartments, don't let them fool you.

What could be improved: There is no option to enter using a domophone. You have to go downstairs every time if your family arrives.
The apartment needs some TLC as have a few wears and tears .. majority door handles are coming off .. wasn't ble to lock toilet at all.. balcony door similar story.
The curtains mechanism needs attention to the landlord as well.
Furniture at the roof needs a bit of an update. Also, a large sofa is in the leaving room .
And all towels are old, some of them having stains from bleach.:(
Other way very good appointment.
Wonderful Great location, view on the harbor and city. All amenities and especially very child friendly and modern. We got 2 cots, high chair and even potty. It’s super close to the old town, has a small park with trampoline for kids and the mall for shopping close by. Thank you!
Relaxed luxury Fantastic, spacious, modern penthouse apartment. Amazing location, minutes walk to mall with large supermarket, shops, coffee and restaurants. Few minutes walk to Rotterman, 10 minute walk to old town. Excellent, friendly and professional host management.
Exceptional very convenient location, close to the old town and shopping centers. the apartments are spacious, comfortable with a wonderful view of the marina.
