I’ll be honest – when I first booked the Central 1-bedroom Apartment with Bath & Balcony, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? This little apartment actually punches way above its weight, and that 8.6 rating makes complete sense once you’ve spent a night or two here.

The moment you walk in, there’s this immediate sense of “okay, someone actually lives here” rather than that sterile hotel vibe you get so often. The bedroom is properly sized – I mean, you’re not bumping into furniture every time you need to grab something from your suitcase, which honestly happens more than it should in city apartments. But it’s really the balcony that sells the whole place. I spent my first morning out there with coffee (there’s a decent little machine in the kitchen area), just watching the neighborhood wake up. You can actually hear the city starting its day – not in an overwhelming way, but in that gentle urban rhythm that makes you feel connected to wherever you are.

The bathroom deserves a mention because, well, let’s face it – apartment bathrooms can be hit or miss. This one’s definitely a hit. Proper water pressure in the shower, which is something I’ve learned never to take for granted, and enough space that you’re not doing some weird contortionist routine just to brush your teeth. The kitchen setup is pretty thoughtful too – whoever designed this space actually considered that people might want to eat something other than takeout. I made breakfast a couple of times, and there were enough basics (decent knife, proper plates, not just paper everything) that it felt normal rather than like camping indoors. Parking was surprisingly straightforward, though I’d recommend asking about it when you book since street parking in central areas can be… well, you know how it is. The check-in process was refreshingly simple – none of that endless paperwork dance you sometimes get. What really struck me was how quiet it gets at night despite being centrally located. Sure, you’ll hear the occasional car or late-night conversation, but it’s more like city white noise than actual disturbance. I’m someone who usually packs earplugs just in case, but I didn’t need them here. The whole place just has this lived-in comfort that makes you settle in quickly, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to actually experience a place rather than just pass through it.

  Big apartment, convenient location. A little bit farther out from old town, 15 minute walk. Only one bus stop down, if you want to save your legs and feet a bit.

  Cosy, quiet and very charming. Amazing location, everthing is close – Old Town, Telliskivi, Kristiine keskus etc. Easy access and very cute balcony to enjoy the morning coffee 🙂 And good to have washing machine and everything you need for cooking.

  Very modern looking flat. Clean and tasteful decoration. Comfortable bed and couch. Fast Internet connection and good selection on the TV. Balcony is very peaceful and quiet.
  
  What could be improved: Loud fridge, annoying if you’re sensitive to constant noises. Only 3 toilet rolls available. A microwave would also have been nice. We came in the summer and the sun rarely sets, so there was a lot of light in the bedroom throughout the night (no blackout curtains).

  Excellent location! Easy pedestrian access to downtown Tallinn, quiet location removed off the main road, nicely decorated property with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Slightly older building bones added to the charm without sacrificing modern amenities.

  great location, close to bus stop and city centre, 10 min by walk. Apartment is well decorated and in good condition, sofa in living room was very comfy, as well bed in bedroom. I would come back again.
