I mean, the city center here isn’t like other European capitals where “center” could mean anything – it’s genuinely walkable to everything that matters. The Viru shopping center is practically around the corner, and there’s this little Estonian bakery two streets over that does these incredible cardamom buns if you’re into that sort of thing.

What really got me about this place was how they nailed the “quiet” part of their name. Even with the windows open on a summer evening, you’re not getting the usual city noise – just the occasional tram in the distance, which is actually kind of soothing once you get used to it. The apartment itself feels properly lived-in rather than sterile (in a good way), with decent natural light that actually justifies the “bright” claim. The kitchen’s got everything you need if you want to pick up some Estonian cheese and dark bread from the Rimi down the street, though honestly, with restaurants like Rataskaevu 16 so close by, I ended up cooking way less than I planned. The shower pressure is surprisingly good – I know that sounds random, but after a day walking on cobblestones, trust me, it matters.

Parking can be a bit tricky around here, but that’s just Tallinn city center for you. Most people figure out the public transport pretty quickly anyway, and the tram connections from this area are solid. The host was straightforward about check-in, no drama or weird key pickup situations. One small thing – the stairs up are a bit narrow if you’re traveling with massive suitcases, but nothing too crazy. Overall, it’s one of those places that just works without any fuss, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to actually explore a city rather than spend time dealing with accommodation headaches.

  Nice new appartement with everything you need in a charming authentic (old) wooden house. The street is full with this nice wooden house, the apparment is new, nice combination. Big shopping centre close by. Easy walk to the old town.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing. Everthing is new. A small side table next to the coach would be nice ( for the coffee).
