Bright & quiet apartment near city centre Overview
First Impressions
When I first walked into Bright & quiet apartment near city centre, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the name — it sounds pretty basic, right? But you know what, sometimes the simplest descriptions are the most accurate. This four-star place on Väike-Ameerika street really delivers on both promises: it’s genuinely bright with these massive windows that flood the space with natural light, and surprisingly quiet despite being so close to everything in Tallinn.
Location & Getting Around
The location is actually brilliant — I mean, you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from Old Town, but tucked away on this residential street that feels completely separate from the tourist chaos. Väike-Ameerika translates to “Little America,” which always makes me smile, though there’s nothing particularly American about this charming Estonian neighborhood. You can easily walk to Toompea Hill or the main square, but when you come back in the evening, it’s like stepping into a different world where locals are just going about their daily lives.
The Space Itself
The apartment feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a typical hotel — and I mean that in the best way possible. The room setup is smart and functional, with a proper kitchen area that’s actually useful if you want to grab groceries from the nearby Rimi and make breakfast. The whole place has this Scandinavian-meets-Baltic vibe with clean lines and warm wood touches. What really struck me was how they’ve managed to make it feel spacious without being huge — clever use of mirrors and that incredible natural light, I suppose.
Why Couples Choose This Place
I can totally see why couples rate this place so highly — there’s something romantic about having your own little Estonian hideaway. The quiet evenings here are perfect for opening a bottle of wine (there’s a good selection at the Stockmann nearby) and just enjoying each other’s company without thin hotel walls or hallway noise. The parking situation is manageable too, which matters if you’re planning day trips to places like Lahemaa National Park or the coastal areas around Tallinn.
Why Guests Love It
Honestly, this place works because it doesn’t try to be something it’s not. You’re not getting a fancy hotel restaurant or a spa, but you are getting a genuine taste of what it’s like to actually live in Tallinn for a few days. The recent guests who rated the location so highly aren’t wrong — you can walk to medieval streets and castle walls, then come home to a modern, comfortable space that feels authentically Estonian. It’s that perfect balance between being a tourist and feeling like a temporary local, which is exactly what makes a trip to Tallinn memorable.

Nice new appartement with everything you need in a charming authentic (old) wooden house. The street is full with this nice wooden house, the apparment is new, nice combination. Big shopping centre close by. Easy walk to the old town.
What could be improved: Nothing. Everthing is new. A small side table next to the coach would be nice ( for the coffee).Great place, clean and spacious and just one minute away from a train station which is one stop to the city. Host was gr – Julia from New Zealand – August 1, 2025 (10/10)
