What I love is that you can duck into the cobblestone streets for dinner, then come back to this modern, quiet space when the tourist crowds get overwhelming. The studio itself is compact but thoughtfully designed – whoever set this up actually understands how travelers live. There’s proper counter space in the kitchenette (thank god, because most “studios” give you about six inches), and the bathroom has one of those rainfall showerheads that makes you feel fancy even though you’re essentially staying in a very nice efficiency apartment.

Here’s the thing though – and this is important – it’s right on a main street, but somehow the windows block out most of the traffic noise. I mean, you’ll hear some buses during the day, but it quiets down completely by evening. The building has that new-construction feel where everything actually works (the Wi-Fi is blazing fast, the heating responds immediately), which honestly feels like a minor miracle after staying in some of Tallinn’s “charming” medieval buildings where you freeze half to death. I was there in November when the weather gets properly miserable, and this place was a warm, dry sanctuary. The check-in process is all digital – they text you codes and everything, which felt weird at first but ended up being super convenient since I arrived pretty late. Just don’t expect a traditional hotel lobby experience; this is more like having your own little apartment right in the city center. For what you pay, especially considering that 9.1 rating (which honestly seems about right), it’s a solid choice if you want modern comfort with authentic Tallinn right outside your door.

  Pleasant apartment in an old converted Soviet era building. Walking distance to amenities and old town. Nice spacious room, comfortable bed and good shower. Good communication from host.
  
  What could be improved: Confusing description – bedroom not separate, no hairdryer in bathroom, no garden view – just carpark. As budget travellers we wanted to use the kitchen but found most simple meals like pizza and microwave packs could not be cooked as there’s no oven or simple microwave, only small hob and one pan + fry pan. Tried to make sandwiches but no bread knife. No dinner plates. No dish washer or draining board facility so washing was difficult, no tea towel provided, no cloth to wipe kitchen down and no small brush/dustpan to sweep floor after crumbs fell. Nespresso machine with two complimentary pods but these pods are not available to buy anywhere – host offered to sell me some but better to provide original machine as original pods widely available. Shower drain was slow, still no was very tiny, no shaving socket. Key box for access was supposed to be labelled ‘A’ but it was labelled ´O’. Noise from residents from around 6am and a lot of noise Friday night/Saturday morning through the night to 5am. Building site next door making noise from 8am daily. Didn’t need parking but was informed after booking that it would be €20/24hr.

  The apartment is right in the centre, but on a smaller street, so it is very quiet. The owner has made excellent use of the limited space – the apartment is well organized, looks lovely and has everything for a short stay. New appliances and furniture, very clean.
  
  What could be improved: Although the place itself if perfect, there are 2 external things the owner cannot control. The apartment is on a rather low ground floor (not below it), so you will have cars literally in the window. During my stay construction works began on the neighbouring lot, looks like they are building a new house.
