This isn’t your typical stuffy hotel trying to impress you with marble lobbies and over-the-top everything. It’s actually refreshingly straightforward, and that 9.7 rating? Yeah, I can see why people are rating it so highly.
The thing that struck me right away was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between modern comfort and not trying too hard. You know what I mean? The rooms have this clean, almost minimalist vibe that feels intentional rather than cheap. And honestly, after dealing with so many places that pile on unnecessary amenities you never use, it’s nice to find somewhere that focuses on getting the basics absolutely right. The beds are genuinely comfortable – not just hotel-brochure comfortable, but the kind where you actually sleep well. The Wi-Fi works properly throughout the building (which, let’s be real, shouldn’t be noteworthy in 2024 but somehow still is), and the water pressure in the shower is solid.
What really won me over, though, was the staff’s approach. They’re helpful without being hovering, if that makes sense. During check-in, the person at the front desk actually gave me useful local tips instead of just handing over a generic tourist map. Little things like that matter when you’re trying to get a feel for a new place. The location itself puts you right in the heart of things – you can walk to most places you’d want to go, but it’s on a quieter stretch so you’re not dealing with constant street noise at night. I mean, there’s some ambient city sound, but nothing that kept me awake. And speaking of practical stuff, they sorted out early check-in without making it feel like I was asking for a huge favor, which honestly made my whole day better since I’d been traveling since early morning. Best of both worlds Everything about the apartment was amazing. We traveled with 3 kids. Our youngest is 5 months old and we were so comfortable with giving her a shower in the bathroom as it was that clean. They provided us with an extra baby cot for our baby which was quite handy. The Whatsapp chat response to any questions was quicker than my husband replying to me 😁 it's at a very good distance from the city walls. On a good day with 3 kids and a leisurely stroll it took us 25 mins. The little treats like the tote bag, instax camera for use during our stay really made the kids happy. The kitchenette had everything we needed and was clean and neat. We could go and pick up extra coffee, tea bags, towels from the laundry room on the 4th floor. Overall as mentioned Bob W was definitely an experience of Best Of Both Worlds.

Exceptional Large bright apartment located in a new building, panoramic views from the balcony, large windows, comfortable beds, spacious rooms. The apartment has all the amenities: dishes, iron, hairdryer. Our stay was very pleasing!
The facilities/apartment exceeded our expectations, but the check-in was delayed The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were clean. There were some nice additional things provided, such as coffee, some candies, reusable shopping bag etc. The check-in was easy. Overall, I think that it was a great value for money, the facilities were very nice and there was a lot of space, we also had a balcony. Regarding staff, we only talked to a lady cleaning our room, but she seemed very nice.

Best apartment in Tallinn! Have stayed in a lot of places but no place comes even close to this gem… It’s cozy, new, beautiful and minimalistic- just what I like.
Very roomy and spacious, has high ceiling and tall windows. Bed was super comfy 10 out of 10. On both sides of the bed, just above the bedside table, there were built-in USB-C and USB-A outlets, so no need for adapters for phones or devices.
The bathroom was spotless, shower had conditioner, body wash and shampoo, there was also a hairdryer.
The kitchen had everything I needed, from pots and pans to a toaster, kettle, utensils, and even seasonings and cooking oil. They even provided a fresh bag of ground coffee labeled ‘Freshly Roasted for BOB W.’
Now, for my favorite part: there was an Instax-style polaroid camera with a 10-pic cassette (got some amazing shots!), stickers, postcards, and a reusable bag for guests. They also had a travel adapter and yoga mats. Under the TV, there was a console loaded with old-school games!
In the building, there were also two washing machines and dryers for guest use, along with an iron.
Overall this places is amazing, highly recommend!
Absolutely wonderful! My stay at Bob W was absolutely wonderful! The apartment was impressively spacious, giving me all the room I needed to relax and enjoy my time. And the bed? Oh my goodness! It was like sleeping on a cloud—so comfy that I never wanted to leave it!
Equally impressive was the service. The staff was incredibly friendly and always quick to help with any questions or requests. Their warm and attentive approach made me feel truly valued as a guest. I highly recommend Bob W for anyone seeking a roomy, cozy getaway with outstanding service!
