Attractive 2 bedroom Apartment in The Old Town Overview
Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of Old Town apartments across Europe, and Attractive 2 bedroom Apartment in The Old Town honestly surprised me in the best way. When you first walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cares about this place – I mean, it’s not just another cookie-cutter rental with IKEA furniture and zero personality. The space feels lived-in but clean, you know? Like your well-traveled aunt’s spare room, if your aunt had really good taste.
What struck me most was how they’ve managed to keep the old-world charm without making you feel like you’re roughing it. The floors have that lovely creak that tells stories, but the bathroom is thoroughly modern (thank goodness, because I’ve learned the hard way about “authentic” plumbing in historic buildings). The two bedrooms are actually proper bedrooms too – not one of those situations where they’ve carved up a studio and called it spacious. I slept incredibly well, which honestly doesn’t always happen when you’re dealing with cobblestone streets and the usual Old Town foot traffic. There’s something about the way sound travels here that makes it feel cozy rather than chaotic.
The location really does work in your favor. You’re right in the thick of things without being on one of those tourist superhighways where people are dragging suitcases at 6 AM. I could walk to most of the main sights, but more importantly, I stumbled onto some genuinely local spots just by wandering the surrounding streets. The kind of places where the bartender actually lives in the neighborhood, if you catch my drift. Parking can be… well, it’s Old Town parking, so manage your expectations there. But honestly, once you’re settled in, you probably won’t want to move your car anyway. The whole area is perfectly walkable, and there’s something really satisfying about having a proper home base to return to after a day of exploring – somewhere you can spread out, maybe cook a simple dinner, and actually relax instead of just existing in a hotel room. That 8.6 rating makes total sense to me because this place delivers on what it promises without any of the usual rental apartment surprises (you know the ones I mean).

The location excellent, good value for money, clean place, liked the bohemian vibes of the deco. Firm double beds with double duvets. This is only for budget travelers, good basic accomodation. Kitchen has all you need for few nights stay. Host very nice and responsive.
What could be improved: The toilet has no sink, handwash where the showers (5 actually) are, in different room. The shower is not easily reachable if you have mobility issues (same with the many stairs, 4th floor, no lift).
Minor issue, no toaster and would have preferred single duvets instead of double.
Warning for light sleepers: the bar downstairs can be loud very late during weekend but earplugs are provided. Us this didn't bother that much.
