The space has character, with interesting lighting and furniture that looks curated rather than ordered in bulk from some hotel supplier. You know what I loved? The windows are huge, so you get this great natural light during those long Northern European summer days.

Now, I’ll be honest – it’s a 3-star place with a 7.8 rating, and that feels about right. It’s not going to blow you away with luxury amenities, but everything works and the details show someone cares. The neighborhood can get a bit lively on weekend nights (Telliskivi draws a younger crowd), but I actually found the energy pretty infectious. Plus, if you’re the type who likes to explore beyond the Old Town tourist bubble, this location is perfect. You can walk to the harbor, catch trams into the city center easily, and there’s this fantastic little coffee roastery just around the corner that locals actually frequent. The check-in was surprisingly smooth too – none of that awkward key-exchange dance you sometimes get with apartment rentals.   Mieszkanie jest bardzo specyficzne. Stary budynek i lokal w dawnym stylu, dosłownie czuć upływ czasu. Nie każdemu spasuje taki klimat.

  The location is good, it's an easy walk to the old town, the train station. There is plenty of street parking outside. Checking in was easy. The kitchen and the bathroom were well-stocked with essentials, like sugar, tea, shampoo, etc. Good shower.
  
  What could be improved: First of all, they have a major construction project going on in the building. There is scaffolding outside the windows, blocking your view, and plastic wrapping around the scaffolding blocks the air flow, so it was very hot and smelly inside. There is also constant noise starting at 7 AM, and men walking outside your windows (scared my teenage daughter). The host doesn't tell you about this construction until AFTER you've made your reservation. They really should put this in the main description, as it is a major disruption. On top of this, the apartment was not cleaned properly. The floors were dusty, there were hairs on the pillows, etc. The apartment generally needs a renovation. They also advertise the place as having two separate rooms, but they put all the beds in one room. We had to move the mattress ourselves to the other room. The whole place looks like the host just doesn't care very much.
