Apartment in Tallinn Old Town Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Apartment in Tallinn Old Town on Viru Street, you immediately understand why this place scores a perfect 10 for location. I mean, you’re literally standing in the heart of medieval Tallinn — the cobblestones beneath your feet have been here for centuries, and you can practically reach out and touch the ancient city walls. This four-star apartment sits right where all the action happens, but honestly, the building itself feels refreshingly modern once you step inside.
The Space
What struck me most about this place is how they’ve managed to create a proper home-away-from-home feeling in such a historic setting. The apartment has everything you actually need — a full kitchen that’s not just for show (you know how some places give you a tiny kitchenette that’s basically useless), comfortable living areas, and sleeping spaces that don’t feel cramped. The windows frame views of the Old Town that honestly never get old, even after several days of staying here.
Location Magic
Here’s the thing about being on Viru Street — you’re about a two-minute walk from Town Hall Square, which means you can duck back to your place whenever you need a break from sightseeing. The morning crowds haven’t arrived yet when you step out for coffee, and in the evenings, you get to experience the Old Town when it transforms into something almost magical. I’ve noticed couples seem to particularly love this spot (the 9.2 rating makes sense when you see how romantic the setting becomes after dark), but really, anyone who wants to feel like they’re living in Tallinn rather than just visiting will appreciate this location.
Daily Life Here
What I really appreciated was how easy it became to establish a routine. There’s a small grocery store just around the corner where locals actually shop — not one of those touristy places with inflated prices. You can grab fresh bread in the morning, cook dinner when you don’t feel like eating out again, and the whole experience feels surprisingly normal despite being surrounded by 13th-century architecture. The apartment gives you that flexibility to live at your own pace, which honestly becomes pretty addictive after a day or two.
Why Guests Love It
After spending time here, I get why this place consistently gets such high ratings. It’s not trying to be fancy or over-the-top — it’s just really, really well-positioned and thoughtfully set up. You’re saving money on taxis because everything’s walkable, you can store leftovers and make your own coffee, and when you want to explore, you literally just step outside and you’re already in the most beautiful part of the city. For couples especially, there’s something pretty special about having your own little corner of the Old Town to retreat to. The combination of authentic location and practical comfort is exactly what makes a trip memorable rather than just another hotel stay.
Hotel in Tallinn booking should be done early, especially during White Nights season when the city hosts internationally acclaimed cultural and technology events.

What could be improved: NoneHyvä ja hiljainen huippusijainnilla! – Heikki from Finland – May 26, 2025 (8/10)
What could be improved: Suihku!
Exceptional – Luīza from Latvia – May 18, 2025 (10/10)
