Ambassador Tallinn Overview
Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of places in Tallinn’s Old Town area, and Ambassador Tallinn honestly surprised me in the best way possible. When you first walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually thought about the details here – I mean, the lobby has this warm, sophisticated vibe without feeling stuffy or trying too hard to impress you with marble everything.
What really got me was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between modern comfort and respecting the character of the city. The rooms are properly spacious (thank god, because you know how cramped some European hotels can be), and the beds are actually comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with a brick. The bathrooms have decent water pressure too – honestly, these little things matter when you’re exploring cobblestone streets all day and just want a proper shower. The staff genuinely seems to know what they’re doing, which is refreshing. They’re not just reciting scripts; they actually gave me solid recommendations for places that weren’t just the obvious tourist traps.
Here’s the thing about the location – you’re close enough to the medieval Old Town that you can easily walk there, but you’re not dealing with the constant noise of tour groups starting at 7 AM or drunk stag parties stumbling around at midnight. It’s sort of perfectly positioned where you get the best of both worlds. I could grab coffee at some excellent local spots nearby (there’s this little place just a few minutes away that locals actually go to), and when I wanted to dive into the touristy stuff, it was all totally walkable. The area around the hotel has a more authentic feel to it – you’ll see actual Estonians going about their daily lives, not just other travelers taking selfies. Parking isn’t a nightmare either, which if you’ve driven in Tallinn, you know is actually a big deal. The hotel’s breakfast was surprisingly good – not just continental hotel fare, but actual local touches that made mornings feel special rather than just functional. And you know what? The whole place just felt clean and well-maintained without that sterile chain hotel atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you can tell the management actually cares about the experience, not just checking boxes on some corporate standards list.
Best hotels in Tallinn range from charming boutique properties in the medieval Old Town to elegant modern hotels with stunning views of Tallinn Bay and ancient city walls.

Excellent location, excellent property, ten minutes walk to the old city
New equipment in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms.
Personal approach to the customers. We’ve arrived at 12 pm, the property owner was waiting for us to bring the keys and to instruct us
What could be improved: It is no private parking, you should park at Admirali parking, ten minutes walking from property. It’s not crucial, a bit uncomfortable to manage drop off and pickup of your luggage.
There is not a balcony on the first (one floor above the ground floor) floor. In case you are smokers.Ye from United Arab Emirates – 28 December 2023 (10/10)
