The staff clearly knows what they’re doing too – check-in was smooth, they remembered my name throughout the stay, and when I mentioned I was having trouble sleeping (jet lag, you know), they brought me some herbal tea without me even asking. I mean, it’s those little touches that bump a place from “nice” to “I’m definitely coming back here.”

The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed there. Everything just works the way it should – the bathroom actually stays warm, the bed is that perfect firmness where you sink in just enough, and surprisingly, it’s really quiet even though there’s clearly other guests around. I was there during what seemed like a busy period, but the soundproofing is solid. The only minor thing is that the lighting in the room is very mood-focused (lots of warm, dim options), which is great for relaxing but not ideal if you need to work on your laptop at night. But honestly, maybe that’s the point – this is the kind of place where you actually want to disconnect for a bit. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels special without being pretentious, and you want to sleep really well while feeling like you’ve escaped the usual hotel cookie-cutter experience, this is definitely worth booking.

  Cute, great location, kitchen had everything needed for a bigger group. Clear instructions upon arrival! Sauna is a great plus if staying longer.
