Agata Studio Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Agata Studio on Pärnu mnt, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a pretty understated building. But you know what they say about not judging books by covers, because this little gem completely won me over during my three nights there last spring.
The thing about staying right on Pärnu mnt is that you’re basically on Tallinn’s main artery – which sounds like it’d be noisy, but actually the studio units are set back enough that street noise isn’t really an issue. What I loved most was how I could walk to pretty much everything. The medieval Old Town is literally a 10-minute stroll (I timed it), and if you’re into the local cafe scene, there’s this fantastic little Estonian coffee roastery called Rokko just around the corner that most tourists completely miss. The trams run constantly right outside too, so getting to places like Kadriorg Park or even out to the beach areas is ridiculously easy.
The studio itself – well, it’s not huge, but whoever designed it actually thought about how people live. The kitchenette has everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the Rimi supermarket down the street (way cheaper than eating out every meal, trust me). The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and I’m usually pretty picky about mattresses. What really impressed me though was how quiet it stays at night, even being so central. They’ve got these heavy curtains that block out the light completely – essential during those crazy bright Estonian summer nights when the sun barely sets. The wifi was solid too, which mattered since I was trying to work remotely for part of my stay.
Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that overly formal hotel reception desk drama. The whole place just feels… practical, I guess? Like it was set up by people who actually travel and know what matters. There’s proper storage space, good water pressure in the shower, and – this might sound weird – but the lighting is really well thought out. You can actually read in bed without straining your eyes. The 9.8 rating honestly makes sense to me because while it’s not fancy, everything just works exactly as it should. If you’re the type who wants to experience Tallinn like you’re living there rather than just passing through, and you don’t need someone fluffing your pillows every day, this spot hits that sweet spot perfectly.

Reviews of Agata Studio
Exceptional – Zuzana from Czech Republic – August 11, 2025 (10/10)
Prostorný byt, velmi hezky řešený, pohodlný, dobře vybavený. V docházkové vzdálenosti od centra (asi 15-20 minut). Parkování bylo k dispozici před domem.
V kuchyni byl dostatek nádobí, utěrka, mycí potřeby, včetně tablet do myčky. Káva, čaj, olej, cukr, sůl.
V koupelně byly k dispozici hygienické potřeby.
Spaní bylo pohodlné i na rozkládací sedačce. Peřina byla velká, společná pro 2 osoby.
What could be improved: Je těžké asi vyhovět všem, nic zásadního nám nechybělo.

Apartament z artystycznym klimatem. – Jaroslaw from Poland – August 7, 2025 (9/10)
Czujesz, że mieszkasz w prywatnym mieszkaniu urządzonym z gustem i indywidualnym artystycznym smakiem. Wystrój i meble znacznie powyżej hotelowych standardów. Dobre wyposażenie, cicho.
What could be improved: Nie ma miejsc idealnych i mimo wielkich atutów apartamentu brakowało: żelazka, sklepu w pobliżu.
